Though Rick Perrys lack of campaign dollars received the most attention this week, whispers are now circulating of a possible second GOP candidate giving serious consideration to dropping out of the race by the end of this month New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
Paul took the position the governments surveillance powers were significantly over-extended while Christie implied the senators views were dangerously ignorant and little more than hot air. Days after the confrontation between the two men it appears more voters are taking Senator Pauls position over Christies as the New Jersey governors poll numbers continue to be stuck between 2 and 3 percent approval in both Iowa and New Hampshire. Senator Pauls numbers have increased slightly or stayed the same in both states following his debate performance.
Christie is said to be preparing a final designated push in both of those states in the coming days and if that fails to improve his standing, he will most likely bow out by the end of the month.
NJFatboy would get some blue collar Dem votes, but I think the hard core commie activist wing that rules the primaries would shun him.
Cristy, Paul, Perry, in the month of August.
Please other canidates, get a clue, drop out soon.
Santorum, Huckabee, Graham, Gilmore.
The race is starting to shrink
I’ll give Chrissy a hug if he drops out now just so I don’t have to see his lard-ass.
It’s like ending a relationship. If you’re thinking of doing it, you’ve already done it. It’s just a matter of time.
The only loss is for the Dems. He’s a big target :P
The only regret about Christie leaving is that his 0.8% support will probably go mostly to Jeb.
Pi$$ off, Crispy Cream Christie!!!
Desperate people look to Washington, D.C. for non-solutions and have for a century or so.
Exactly.
You’d think Christie would have got more traction with that much weight over his rear wheels....
Good news that Christie Kreme is going to bail.
Also worth noting is that in the debate confrontation between Christie and Paul that Paul was correct. The NSA program that has been suspended was never use by Christie and that was the main Paul argument. Christie is just a big blowhard and it didn't play well with the folks. Fortunately.
perry is a useful idiot to split up the texas vote. He will be paid to stay in the race. The same as Huckabee is in this race as a tool to split the bible thumper idiot vote.
Shall we say his campaign belly flopped?
Just watch, all the RINO candidates who are openly moderate will fall in line and let the one leader scoop up the votes. (Either Jeb or Kasich at this point).
Meanwhile, their faux-conservative alternatives, Rubio and Walker, will try to somehow get the “conservative alternative” mantle—if they can fool enough people.
NJFatBoy never had a chance anyway.
The rest of The Cheap Labor Express candidates would do well to drop out as well.
We are not interested in surrendering the country to fraudulently documented foreigners.
The minimum standard is whether or not a candidate is willing to uphold the rule of law.
Those who support amnesty need not apply.
I had forgotten he was in it. Was he ever in it? Lol
I’ll bet that’s in the mix. Why go for weeks on the campaign trail, when you can watch every Cowboys game with Jerry? He can see the writing on the wall.
That would be the intelligent action to take.
Comments on this thread are among the best FR has ever had in the 17 years I have been here
4% support.
Will he be stupid enough to endorse now vs later?
Does Trump have NJ business interests?
And the only one who brought up the border but that’s not a big deal for the K-Street-Chamber of Commerce crowd, right?
