In the Cleveland debate, Donald Trump refused to commit to support whomever the Republican Party nominates in 2016.
Trump would be wise to maintain his freedom of action.
For there is a plot afoot in the Washington Post Conservative Club to purge Trump from the Republican Party before the primaries begin.
A political party has a right to secure its borders, asserts the Posts George Will, a duty to exclude interlopers. Will wants The Donald excommunicated and locked out of all GOP debates until he kneels and takes a loyalty oath to the nominee.
Marginalizing Trump carries no risk of alienating a substantial Republican cohort, Will assures us, for these Trumpites are neither Republicans nor conservatives. Better off without such trash.
The Posts Michael Gerson says establishment Republicans must make clear that [Trump] has moved beyond the boundaries of serious and civil discourse. He loathes the Trumpites as much as Will.
Trumps followers are xenophobic, Gerson tells CNN. They have a resentment of outsiders, of Mexico, of China, and immigrants. Thats more like a European right-wing party, a UKIP or a National Front in France. Republicans cant incorporate that.
But if the GOP has no room for Trumps followers, it has no future. For there simply arent that many chamber-of-commerce and country-club Republicans.
Trump should tell the GOP, in the neocons favorite phrase, All options are on the table. And that includes the Samson Option.
Trump should tell the GOP that if it disrespects him and his followers, then he is prepared to do as did the biblical hero Samson, when, blinded and mocked by the Philistines, he pushed the pillars apart and brought the temple down upon the heads of them all.

OK. Lets’s take Cruz.
If Trump goes Perot say hi to President Hillary or Bernie or Joe.
Is Georgie a Repub?
Pray America is waking
Love the Samson reference.
It’s a great metaphor I used while being attacked by some foaming TDS H8er here:
“Meanwhile, Trump is doing the heavy lifting to destroy the Uniparty. So what if he’s an imperfect blind man, as long as he pulls down the Temple walls?”

If they push Trump out while he’s leading with the grassroots, it may very well be the spark that finally ignites the implosion of the thoroughly corrupt GOP.
Go, Tea Party!!
Would not surprise me, because Americans have had it. Donald Trump is s symbol of a growing revolt against the political elites.

I would say, go pound sand, we are for trump and if you don’t like it, to bad!!!!
Tell me he wasn't dumb enough to go there. You can protect the borders of your party, but not the borders of your nation?
Will sure didn't remember that dogma when McCain was the potential standard bearer.
They want to lose.
They want to be able to loot the treasury for their rich friends but lose the Presidency so they can blame everything on the Democrat in the White House.
Even if they lose power in Congress, theres still plenty of ways to line their pockets.
They want to lose.
20 yrs ago, I would never have believed it. But after the last 10 or so, especially the last few, I’m sad to say it certainly appears to be the case. It is simply easier to be the loser, continue to have the perqs, and just complain that it is somebody else’s fault. They don’t want to win and actually have to do something worthwhile for the betterment of the country.
The reason the PP attacks on Trump is Rove and the GOPe Bush machine don’t want people knowing how long they have been PERSONALLY sacrificing babies to Molech, oops I mean selling dead baby bits for cash.
Or that Prescott Bush was of the same “pure bloodline” mindset as Margaret Sanger.
P.S. this is what their elitism is all about. Scratch at it a little and the truth starts to become abominably obvious.
That was already evident from the Faux News Debate, from the first
question through the Frank Luntz “ fixed” forum and of course, the
talking heads.
From start to finish, it was a set up.
Perot would have been president if he hadn’t gone split personality on us.
Sick isn’t it.
Ted Cruz is standing by.
Trump is no Perot. Unlike Perot, who was essentially running as a troll to mess things up for George Bush, Trump wants to win, and if he goes independent, he may just do so.
No, if he goes indy he will gain millions if indys and dems that you couldnt get to vote R with a gun to their head.
If you can show evidence otherwise I am intersted in seeing it.
