Donald Trump wants American voters to know that he never said anything about Megyn Kelly menstruating during Fox News’ Republican debate. According to the former host of The Apprentice, “deviants” like Erick Erickson simply misunderstood his insult aimed at the debate moderator.
According to CNN, Donald Trump slammed Megyn Kelly during a post-debate interview with the network. The billionaire businessman was upset that The Kelly File host had dared to call him out for making sexist comments in the past, and Trump seemingly continued this pattern by implying that Kelly was being so hard on him because she was on her period. The media mogul didn’t mince words when he attacked Kelly for singling him out.
You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes,” Trump told CNN’s Don Lemon. “Blood coming out of her wherever.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, conservative blogger Erick Erickson used Donald Trump’s “blood” comment as an excuse to disinvite the frontrunner for the GOP presidential nomination from this weekend’s RedState Gathering in Atlanta. Erickson released a statement on the RedState website explaining his decision to dump Trump.
“His comment was inappropriate. It is unfortunate to have to disinvite him. But I just don’t want someone on stage who gets a hostile question from a lady and his first inclination is to imply it was hormonal. It just was wrong.”
Donald Trump responded to his revoked invite by attempting to clarify his “blood” comment. According to the Guardian, Trump’s campaign released a statement implying that Erickson had his mind in the gutter when Trump’s comment immediately made him think of Megyn Kelly menstruating.
“Mr Trump said ‘blood was coming out of her eyes and whatever’ meaning nose, but wanted to move on to more important topics. Only a deviant would think anything else.”
Unsurprisingly, the Trump campaign also labeled Erickson a “total loser.” However, Donald Trump missed out on the opportunity to call Erick Erickson out for his own troubling habit of making sexist comments. Vox recently labeled Erickson a “prominent sexist” and provided plenty of evidence that the conservative activist also enjoys insulting women. This includes tweets about how “angry feminists” should be at home making sandwiches and the use of Rush Limbaugh’s beloved “feminazi” epithet.
“That’s what being too ugly to date does to your brain,” Erickson once tweeted of female activists. He’s also criticized Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton’s looks, said that women aren’t funny as men, and celebrated Donald Trump’s Rosie O’Donnell bashing.
How awesome is Fox for letting Trump come on and bash Rosie!! Awesome.

That Michelle Obama public service announcement on Haiti is not very flattering. Move the camera back please.

Erick Erickson might be white knighting Megyn Kelly now, but he made some sexist comments that she found offensive during a 2013 interview. According to Salon, Erickson angered Kelly by complaining that working mothers are “bad for kids and bad for marriage.” She responded by criticizing Erickson for using nothing but his own conclusions to back up his claims.
“What makes you dominant and me submissive, and who died and made you Scientist-in-Chief?” Kelly asks Erickson in the video below.
Do you think Erick Erickson is being a hypocrite by dumping Donald Trump from his event over the Megyn Kelly “blood” comment when he’s said equally terrible things about women in the past?
Katie Pavlich and Mary Catherine Ham were the initial instigators with Erick.
All contributors to Fox News.
It’s possible that Chris Wallace was on his period too.
My humble personal opinion:
That was EXACTLY what Trump was saying.
It was exactly the same sort of below-the-belt dirty snipe that the MSM has been using on our candidates for decades.
He returned fire to put them all on notice that he was not going to be a sitting duck for their gutter tactics.
This needs to happen much more to the press. Early and often. They need to learn they can’t kneecap people with impunity.
So what. He had a point. Listen to her during that debate and you’ll agree.
He should have said: do you have it in for me or are you in your cycle because that was not a debate question as posed.
Would Ericka have said menstrating fire?
bringing new meaning to the journalistic adage “if it bleeds, it leads”.
Notice how Wallace - who has made smirking a career - escapes notice in all this crap? He was horrible, not only to Trump, but to everyone else!
If you have listened to the actual interview, there is no way you could come to that conclusion unless you are a deviant or flat out lying in order to push the “ destry Trump at all costs” meme.
Which is it, Erick?
Not only would she have said that, one hundred percent of the Freepers who insist that Trump meant genitalia would still be insisting that.
Yeah sure, nose.
I think he meant she was on the rag, and I think he was right.
they are trying to make this Trump’s ‘Macaca moment’ - but Trump is not going to lay down so fast...
If he interned to say nose, he would have said nose!
He is just lying to cover up what he meant because he got push back.
Honi soit qui mal y pense.
Shame unto he who evil thinks.
Erickson will see his show numbers drop from this.
Jebstate is a deviant
So were Pavlich and Ham the first to equate “wherever” with -um- you know -um- -uh- -um- wherever?
Erick Erickson is a loathsome toad. As evidenced by the total wasteland that used to be his FB page. LOL!
