Limiting himself to three meals a day is most likely what helped him. It’s the constant eating that can pack on the pounds.
If he can fit into 36” pants at 220 lbs, he must be a tall guy.

I don’t eat at McDonalds and I’m not overweight. I eat healthy food and go to the gym each day. I’m not saying that one can’t find healthy food at McDonalds, but I will say that healthy food isn’t the secret of the success that they’ve had.

I didn’t eat McDonald’s for every single meal, but this is more or less what I did at the beginning of 2012 when I decided I really needed to lose weight. The big changes for me were 1) cutting back on my alcohol consumption, and 2) getting off my butt and doing a little exercise.
I started off walking about two miles a day, but as the weight came off and I started to feel a bit better at the end of those walks I gradually increased it. At one point during this program I was actually walking close to SIX miles each day.
Over the course of about eight months I was able to lose a little over 30 pounds. I should mention I’m considerably smaller in stature than the subject of this article though.
The smell of rancid fat at McDonald’s takes away my appetite. I should go in there regularly.

Eating at McDonald’s three times a day would be enough to stop anybody from eating at all!!
