He would have to be at least 6’ 8” tall.

I’m 6’ and weigh 176 and have a hard time getting into my size 36” pants. And those pants also have an elastic waist band.

Not necessarily. When I get my weight down that far, I can get into a size 36, and I'm 6' even. Right now, I'm punching about 40 pounds above my fighting weight. LOL But I've dropped close to 30 since the beginning of the year. My doc is giving me good drugs for a change.
