A Christian minister in Florida has ignited a firestorm over his suggestion that God is using Donald Trump as a divine instrument in the 2016 presidential election cycle.
In a column published in Charisma magazine, Jeremiah Johnson of Behold the Man Ministries in Lakeland, Florida, said he was praying several weeks ago “when God began to speak to me concerning the destiny of Donald Trump in America:”
The Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “Trump shall become My trumpet to the American people, for he possesses qualities that are even hard to find in My people these days. Trump does not fear man nor will he allow deception and lies to go unnoticed. I am going to use him to expose darkness and perversion in America like never before, but you must understand that he is like a bull in a china closet.Many will want to throw him away because he will disturb their sense of peace and tranquility, but you must listen through the bantering to discover the truth that I will speak through him. I will use the wealth that I have given him to expose and launch investigations searching for the truth. Just as I raised up Cyrus to fulfill My purposes and plans, so have I raised up Trump to fulfill my purposes and plans prior to the 2016 election.
You must listen to the trumpet very closely for he will sound the alarm and many will be blessed because of his compassion and mercy. Though many see the outward pride and arrogance, I have given him the tender heart of a father that wants to lend a helping hand to the poor and the needy, to the foreigner and the stranger.”

Nobody can doubt Trump is exposing the corrupt and corruption....fearlessly. Might be why God made him successful for this hour as he did those written about in the Bible.
Who are we to argue the hands he uses......the plans are all his to begin with and he uses it all for His ultimate purposes.
Meanwhile we get to enjoy an otherwise boring Pres. race.....and watch God rise and fall who He will along the way....In the end it will be His determination for He alone seats kings and Leaders...they too serve His purposes knowingly and not.

Tioga, I agree with that completely. If you had said that up front, we would have agreed.
He does seem to believe in God. He’s not atheist. I don’t believe he understands the concept of us all needing/having to ask for forgiveness.
He’s brash, not a good Christian, and someone I’ve not been particularly fond of over the years.
Right now brash and insulting seems to be what the situation calls for.
The regular run of the mill guys are not getting the job done.
We have guys in the Senate who can submit bills any time they like. What bills have they submitted to end some of the nonsense going on?
They tell us they’re on our side. They make good comments. They rarely dump on the leadership. Until recently not at all. What are we to make of this?
A lot of folks never even consider what I’m touching on here. It’s the dirty little secret we don’t want to confront, because it reveals that none of the folks we think of as brilliant and on our side, truly are to the extent we think of them being. It’s disheartening.
Some of these folks are puling the wool over our eyes, and we’re falling for it.
I’m tired of it.
Trump has problems. I’m telling you, they all do.
I don’t know what this election cycle will ultimately wind up being like.
I’ve predicted Trump will take it all, and that may have been a temporary lapse in judgement.
Maybe we’ll wind up with another Bush.
Maybe we’ll wind up with another Leftist.
Maybe we will wind up with Cruz.
I don’t see how Cruz takes the early primaries with moderat Republican and Democrat teaming up to vote for the non-Conservative, but we’ll see.

I am a Cruz fan. I see too many flaws in all the others. I am praying.

Trump’s certainly not a prophet. The article says that God’s going to use him.
He said “I just go on and try to do better.” As I recall. Isn’t that the ultimate thing? I understand it is not Catholic dogma but that is what I look for from my fellow travelers.

I rue the day that government has made it so difficult for us to intervene like that. We still try to, as much as we can, anyway. It is touchy, and requires tremendous Holy Spirit guidance!

I rarely petition God. I just life up folks for His blessing. I am lifting up Cruz, the GOP and our country. Let’s hope He’s ready to lift us out of this depressing filth that is permeating our culture.
