The phrase anti-immigrant is loose in media land, being used to describe politicians and everyday Americans alike.
How can anyone be anti-immigrant? Immigrants are hard workers! We are a nation of immigrants! The phrase is used recklessly by the New York Times, U.S. News and of course MSNBC, as well as many others.
Never mind that there is a huge difference between immigration and illegal immigration. Thats a difference as profound as renters versus squatters, or even customers versus burglars.
To be anti-illegal-immigration is NOT the same as to be anti-immigration. Yet the phrases are being used interchangeably in the press, and will continue to be used as if there is no difference. Why?
For a precedent, look at the word "homophobia" ...
It's just as dishonest as portraying those who don't embrace homosexuality as having a "phobia."
It seems to be the same kind of people who are applying both labels.
Using any label with the word “anti” means you are a hater in the liberals’ lexicon.
This is pure Alinsky.
Right?
Yep, a lowlife could break into a vacant home and just start living there. He is an “undocumented tenant.”
I would love to help a criminal illegal alien move right next door to a lib politician who defends illegals. Let’s see how happy that RAT would be.

No shortage to choose from in California
Tell that to Jeb Bush, Karl Rove, Lindsey Graham, Reince Priebus, Marco Rubio, and the Wall Street Journal.
Guilty!!!
I’m anti immigrant of all sorts. The country needs at least a 10 year period of zero immigrants or until unemployment is at or near zero.
