The Environmental Protection Agency and the Army Corps of Engineers final water rule under the Clean Water Act seeks to regulate almost every type of water in the country. And you dont even need to get into the substance of the rule to know itll be a disaster. Here are three signs that this rule should be killed off immediately.

Sign 1 -- The Regulating Agency is Acting More like an Advocacy Group than a Federal Agency.
Sign 2 --The Rule Is Best Described as Uncooperative Federalism.

The EBA had done a crackerjack job of protecting the Animas River.
Cut the EPA’s budget by 90%
Cancel all regs imposed in the past 10 years.
I always liked their basic premise about what water they were actually protecting .... which is... drum roll.... all waters that eventually flow into our rivers ! I’m still trying to figure out what rainfall doesn’t go into our rivers. Basically they control every inch of land and water.
But hey, their a good bunch of well meaning guys.
Someone over the weekend responded to one of my post by saying that if the mine hadn’t place the waste there in the first place this wouldn’t have happened. Um, okay. But they did place the waste there and the “experts” somehow must have missed a couple of classes on operating heavy equipment and containment protocols. Regardless, from what I’ve read, it’s still leaking out and seems like it’s headed down stream at a pretty good pace.
The EPA should focus on REAL problems instead of wasting money lying about Climate Change.
Thank you, Richard Millhouse Nixon.
If you doubt the brilliance of the EPA one must exam their recent activities. In one day they managed to dispose of Millions and Millions and Millions of gallons of toxic waste containing lead, arsenic, cadmium and uranium. This pond of toxic brew was disposed of with just a few hundred dollars of labor with a bulldozer. They simply broke the dike holding the toxic brew and let it flow down the river. Problem solved!
All they did was contaminate the largest water supply in the Western United States, the Colorado River Basin!
F ing idiots they are.
Thus speaketh our federal overlords.
