The Orders to Take Out Trump Must Have Gone to Fox, Not the Other Candidates

RUSH: It was just 24 hours ago, ladies and gentlemen -- a mere 24 hours ago -- that I was behind this very Golden EIB Microphone informing you that I had come across a bit of news. The bit of news was that big-time Republican donors had ordered to take out Donald Trump in the debate last night.

We all made a mistake. We assumed that the orders went out to the candidates. But the candidates did not make one move toward taking Donald Trump out. The broadcast network did; the candidates didn't. I mean, let's review. The first question from Megyn Kelly to Trump was, "You've called women fat slobs, pigs, whatever," and he said, "No, just Rosie O'Donnell." The place starts laughing and so forth, but she's not amused, and she tells him, "No, it's more than that."

She keeps going on and on and on about it, and says, "Is this the right kind of temperament?" Whatever it was. Trump was clearly caught entirely off guard by it, and even today he said, "I'm not... I don't know when I've ever said this stuff." Who knows if he writes all of his tweets that he posts. You know, this is the danger that when you start going in the social media stuff and tweeting stuff and maybe you hire somebody to do it for you.

Tornados are so dangerous. We were under a watch recently, and one of the things that I did (after putting collars on my dogs, packing a bag with a phone, dog leashes, a jacket, my wallet and credit cards) was to step outside every 5-10 minutes or so to look at the sky and listen. I was then prepared to take the dogs and myself down to the basement. It’s been a while since I had to respond to something like this, so I’ll do better next time.

This area has had at least 3 big tornadoes since the early 70’s. The last one was in 2011/12. It knocked out all power stations coming in. I can truthfully say that during those dark days and nights, people were very nice to others. I had to go to the grocery store during that time. I had one traffic light. The drivers made it into a 4 way stop. Never saw people so nice! I saw kids out playing because there were no lights, tv, games, etc. We checked on neighbors to make sure they were ok. It was hard to do anything by candlelight! It was great for people who had generators!

I hear you. :) At our old house, we had a microburst that took down a tree that bounced off our house and onto my jeep. We had a live wire in the front yard, and one of my neighbors offered to call it in for me. I went across the street to another neighbor who drove me to a nearby gas station that still had power, and I called my husband, who was at school in Connecticut. He drove home that night.

People were so kind.

Years ago, my late daughter had an appointment at the Mayo Clinic in MN. A few days before we were to leave, I told her I had a feeling we should postpone the trip. Well, the day we were supposed to leave, I had just left the den when we heard a terrific boom. I walked back to the kitchen to see a pine tree right beneath the ceiling. I called my husband but he was in a meeting. I told the secretary to go in and tell him we had a tree in our kitchen! He came right home. The man who does my yard took care of the tree. The house smelled like pine for weeks. The straight line winds took that tree down on the kitchen end, went across the yard and got a tree on the other end. Have never seen a storm like that That voice kept us home to handle that.

Murdoch’s NY Post has been after him for weeks. Murdoch is a naturalized American.

Ironically, Trump is a creation of the Post from the 1980’s.
