A few hours before Thursdays Fox News debate, a friend of Donald Trumps confided to me that Trump was nervous. Not about the competitionhe could handle them. No, Trump worried about Fox News, and in particular, debate moderator Megyn Kelly. Shed been hammering him all week on her show, and he was certain she was out to get him. Hed canceled a Fox News appearance on Monday night, the friend said, in order to avoid her. (Trumps spokeswoman wouldnt confirm or deny this.)

When you try to take someone down, and come across as unfair in your methods, backlash follows. Megyn isn’t as smart as she thinks she is.
That wasn't a debate setting, it was a lynch mob setting.
Real debates focus on issues and ideas and not on personal "gotcha" type of attack questions (for the person being targeted).
He was never given a chance to fall flat on his face. What a crock of self serving bastards running that forum.
IF, they would have asked of him questions on issues and how he would deal with them in specifics, then no person would have given it any thought.
NOT ONE QUESTION, was asked of him that did not have some form of slimey snipe within it. NOT ONE.
This backfired big time and almost assured a third party run by Trump. And he could very well win it. Does not need the money, and runs against the very thing we saw last night-crony politics, and he could very well win.
#Firemegynkelly
It wasn’t a debate; it was a media show starring hate.
This whingy “Victim Trump” movement is really pathetic. He’s supposed to be a big boy, and should be able to withstand tough questions.
“If Megan didnt know before last night, Im pretty sure that she knows it now.”
I found her Facebook page. Trust me; she knows.
The moderators got 31+ percent of the face time.
“What a terrible abuse of the privilege she (Megyn) was given.”
I’m all for interviewers bashing (or attempting to bash) candidates as long as the candidates have the opportunity to respond on the spot.
If a candidate can’t defend themselves then maybe he/she doesn’t belong in the competition.
I thought Trump was great in the debate. He’ll have much more to say to us as the campaign goes on.
What’s telling are the Liberals who are actually PRAISING Fox News for how they handled last night.
That’s all you need to know.
How do you ignore a frontrunner? They have to take the frontrunner status away first, like they did with Cain, and then ignore him. That is the catch 22 they are in.
Sure is fun to watch.
What was that dead rat on Christie’s head? Was the rat or Christie the last to leave the sinking ship?
I bet that Facebook page makes entertaining reading about now.
Nobody I know is feeling sorry for Trump. The point is this is supposed to be America - and the PEOPLE are supposed to be able to choose their own candidates, not Megyn or Fox News or GOPe.
The media has been allowed to decide this for Republicans for too many elections. That’s why our country is in this mess.
Too many “Got cha” Questions—they were out Trump Hunting—they may have wounded him, but he’s not gone yet. Megyn was to bias in her approach—You can bet Trump will never be a guest on her show again.
Of course he has.
The big news today is the Trump Ambush by Fox.
He is getting a bunch of sympathy support from many who would not otherwise give him the time of day.
Trump is now the touchstone of the resistance.
And now Liberals love Fox News.
You nailed the point of Trump very well! Good job FRiend!
