Yes, another gutless, go-along GOPe poser.
Yes, it has.
With the support for Trump, regardless of his positions, it has gone to the Left.
There might still be hope?
I've never been a fan of Huckabee, but it looks like he gets it.
Col Ralph Peters has done away with the Toni hairdo and looks all the better for it.
Here are my observations from not watching the debate but reading the comments on here:
Trump continue to whine and whine and whine. He and his followers blast Fox for “gotcha” questions and rudeness...and yet, he KNEW this was coming. He seems to lack thick skin and class.
You don’t hear Cruz supporters carrying on this morning like all of the Trumpers. While Trump might have received “hard” questions, at least he GOT questions! Cruz went for almost an hour and a half without a question. If you want to know who the media and the left TRULY FEARS, it ain’t Trump...it is the person they ignored.
I laugh when Trump people cite the Drudge poll as some sort of vindication for Trump. The poll is bogus as you can vote MULTIPLE Times. I did. Funny, at one point, the Paulies bombed the poll as well...even though Rand didn’t do so well in the actual debate.
Trump won’t rule out a third party run if he is disrespected. Call it “leverage” or “negotiation” if you will, but his continued flirtation with a 3rd Party run should give people pause.
Finally, the Luntz focus group. He laughs at Luntz for doing his job. He might not like the results, but as someone said in an earlier post, did the whole focus group lie about Trump? Media perception is EVERYTHING in politics and Trump isn’t looking good...fair or not, this is reality.
I have long been a Cruz supporter. I know that right now Fox wants to “Dump Trump” and that was clear as a bell last night. People like you and I should not fool ourselves. After Fox dumps Trump, they are going to go after Cruz. After they “Dump Trump” they are going to “Push Bush” and they will try to destroy anyone, including Cruz, who gets in their way.
Yeah, well. We are a shame to our ancestors.
Hey! Good idea.
Those of us with brains, you mean....
Excellent point. Just who is it that has a war on women, Megyn?
I sincerely hope you are right.
Here's the big problem (as I see it):
Many Americans (many right in this forum, not you) are addicted to amusement*. Their's is a "Reality TV" world. Their attention lasts only a few seconds and then they're off to another amusement. Their thoughts are controlled by their appetite for entertainment.
I have been fooled, too. I thought that conservatives were independent thinkers. Many are. But many are only going on a conservative ride (as in an amusement park). I am surprised how many are so eagerly chasing a man of such low caliber. They are not thinking at all.
They are not thinking past the moment. They are not considering more than their immediate gratification (revenge, base instincts, lust, etc). Look at their crude language right here in this thread.
Instead of supporting someone with time-tested moral fiber, whose character meets a high standard, they are willing to run after someone who amuses them with his showmanship. They are fools. They are suckers.
I am ashamed of many posters in this thread.
*amuse (v.) "to divert the attention, beguile, delude," from Middle French amuser "divert, cause to muse," from a "at, to" (but here probably a causal prefix) + muser "ponder, stare fixedly" (see muse (v.)). Sense of "divert from serious business, tickle the fancy of" is recorded from 1630s, but through 18c. the primary meaning was "deceive, cheat" by first occupying the attention. Bemuse retains more of the original meaning. Related: Amused; amusing.
I side with Ted Cruz, a solid Constitutional conservative.
You side with a self-admitted Democrat.
No contest, no comparison.
Trump 11:14 Bush 8:48 Kasich 6:53 Rubio 6:49 Carson 6:46 Cruz 6:46 Huckabee 6:42 Christie 6:24 Walker 5:45 Paul 5:28
“Lutzs focus group loved Cruz”
His focus groups are a complete farce. They love whoever Luntz tells them to love.
My wife of twenty seven years and two kids would disagree with your suspicions. It’s whack jobs like you that cost the rest of us our country.
A petty point here, but does it look as though he sat on his glasses before he came out??? WTH??
Of course it was a legitimate question. I’m glad he was outed.
“You side with a self-admitted Democrat.
No contest, no comparison”
You really are a good little liar, aren’t you. Trump is a self admitted Pub, running as a Pub, in case you didn’t notice. But that’s all right, most of your comments are discounted on these threads anyway. You seem to have a compulsive need to lie about Trump. I might add, the difference between us is that I like Cruz and never denigrate him, in fact I praise him. You, on the other hand, are petty and nasty about Trump.
I would love to see a Trump/Cruz ticket. You can’t seem to figure out that Cruz by himself just doesn’t have the poll numbers to get where he wants to go, and probably won’t, for whatever reason that is. I am a political realist, you are just unkind to Trump on all Trump threads. Doubt if you’ll change your stripes, as you appear cast in concrete.
You’re married? I’m sorry for your wife.
My husband is a decent man-—not some sleazebag who goes around calling women the “c” word.
“I am ashamed of many posters in this thread.”
Not half as ashamed as we are of you, for your elitist diatribe against most of us. To put it in the venacular, buzz off. Your comments are not appreciated by we, the great unwashed.
