Carly Fiorina was the clear winner of the early Republican presidential debateat least according to social media.
The former Hewlett Packard CEO joined six other contenders who failed to qualify for the evenings main event, which is restricted to the top ten candidates in recent polls. However, her performance in the undercard event generated a great deal of online enthusiasm.

Good. I like her.
Where was Sen. Cruz?
****************
Cruz was a no show.........
in stating the proposition you stated the fallacious error
Trump ventures failed. He is an entrepreneur
Carly’s company did not fail. She is an executive that runs mature business
By not understanding that very fundamental fact, you credibility with any other comparisons disappears.
Failure is part of being an entrepreneur. Failure as a CEO of a mature company is jusy failure. The former is tolerable, the latter is not
I would put Jindal first, Carly and Santorum second.
BUMP BUMP BUMP to the TOP!!!

Low information voters need to save FR some bandwidth. Go away, or /sarc your posts.
Carly was the clear winner by a country mile.
That is kind of an idiotic statement. By that logic, no Republican could win nationally, because no Republican could win statewide office in California - especially a pro-life conservative. But California is not the whole country, and there are a lot of red states where Carly could sail to election against someone like Boxer or Hilary.
No question about it!!!
Love #7s nickname.

Kind of like winning the NIT in hoops instead of the NCAA Tourney aka March Madness. (Winning the NIT means you are the 67th best college basketball team in the country.)
Ooops, I meant 69th...
I worked at Compaq, then HP both before and after the merger. I was not thrilled about getting laid off in the dot com meltdown (though I got a nice severance and landed a job for more money closer to home). I couldn't imagine ever being willing to support Carly for anything. Then I listened to a few interviews and came away very impressed with her. I am a Cruz supporter first, then Walker, but I could support a Carly candidacy.
I agree Jindal was the winner but it was the same tired old B.S. from all of them. Nobody with enthusiasm.
Kinda rude. Some folks have lives that preclude them from watching tv very much.

If all of the above is true (and it is well documented), then why is it somehow considered beyond the pale for her to point it out? It is not like Trump has tried to hide these facts.
