I can’t think of Dershowitz any more without picturing him getting into a sixteen year old’s pants. Her memories were pretty descriptive. If he cheated on his wife with an adult, I’d be able to listen to the content of what he says. But I can’t.
Trump hasnt locked horns with the lawyer from texas yet..
Be wise if he steered away from that confrontation..
Super-Cruz.. would roll over him like a speed bump..
Dershowitz knows what he’s talking about.
In the circles he moves in, he’s seen other Trump-quality opponents.
Didn’t Dershy fly out to some Billionaire’s island to savour a bit of that Young Poontang..?
Rape Island, right?
Belonging to that big Wall Street perv with all the huge naked girl photos decorating his walls, right?
And they say even Bill Clinton was there, some times.
I am cheering on trump as a breath of fresh air to shake things up.. but invincible? Uh no. Trump can’t even speak in complete sentences and has flip flopped on issues without a proven track record on policy matters. Every candidate has weak areas and trump sort of let’s it all hang out. A smart debater can expose his weaknesses. Of course I am not sure where the smart candidates are except for cruz and trump. :-). We will see how he does in the debates.
“He’s a populist,” Dershowitz said of Trump. “

Al $harpton says Trump is a “popularist”.
Sounds like he's also a populist who doesn't have to worry about what he says.
Even Dershowitz noticed this!
Dershowitz can't grasp the concept of truth. Trump says what he feels. He don't ask permission. How do you attack or debate against that? Unfortunately for the other guys they can't say the real truth about every issue. What about those lobbyist$ ?
Fine line for them.
Dershovitz is making a valid point about Trump being a populist and .. populist candidates often can attract considerable support just for being populist in orientation an sounding the part (regardless of specific policies or details)
On the other hand, Cruz debates very well (albeit more intellectually and fact-oriented ... meaning he cannot quire connect as well as a capable populist speaker to some significant portion of the American electorate).
Alan D is an extremely bright and usually very honest and perceptive man, regardless of his generally liberal viewpoints he is well worth listening to most of the time.
But then again, he has a brain whereas many liberals do not demonstrate any such anatomical feature.
And he seeks to persuade us, not enslave us or rule over us.
I still think Cruz can hold his own and that perhaps Huckabee can connect on a somewhat different populist level as Trump, but still connect with a big part of an audience in a populist sort of way.
As can Sarah Palin, if she were there
Trump is going Rino and donkey hunting and he is a dead aim. It will be a turkey shoot and Trump has the only working gun.
If Cruz wants to break out and get more support he needs to hammer the GOPe establishment hard. It is open season on career politicians and Cruz needs to sell quickly which side he is on. If he speaks with bold truthfulness exposing the Washingtonites like he did about McTurtle on the floor last week, people will take notice and his support will grow.
The rest of them are Rinos and losers and none of them has got anything worth saying I want to hear.
