Trump/Fiorina
Trump is giving them all a throttling of historic proportions. His poll numbers keep rising!
Politicians can’t compete with a business owner, much less with a guy that is like one of those that built this country like Ford or Edison.
“[Cruz has not passed a single conservative bill or even convince his Senators to pass one]
???????”
In his/her complete zeal for Walker, napscoordinator has lost all objectivity about Cruz. I just mostly skip over those posts.
One of the ways to promote your candidate is to stop unfairly attacking other candidates. Otherwise, you lose your credibility.
Jindal comes up with some great lines, sometimes. I don’t know whether he would be a good President or not, but I always like hearing what he has to say.
I agree with you. I don’t think it’s an accident that Trump singled out Cruz to meet with him. Trump knows what and who he needs.
That's an excellent thought. Maybe she would.
Heehee. :)
I saw most, but not all, of the forum. I think that some did very well (e.g., Jindal). I think that some were weak (e.g., Bush). But I think that we need to remember that this is only a snippet of the bigger picture. Hopefully we aren’t going to pick a winner based solely on a sound bite or set of sound bites in a one night event. We need to look at their records.
Some are too moderate for my tastes (e.g., Christie, Pataki, Kasich). Some are too libertarian (e.g., Paul). Some are weasels (e.g., Graham). Some are temporary rock stars whose conservative bona fides may not stand close scrutiny (e.g., Fiorina, Trump). Some are good people who are just not ready for prime time (e.g., Carson). Some are establishment types unlikely to be conservative warriors once elected (e.g., Bush, Rubio). Some are ciphers who have some good and some not so good elements in their record, and mayor may notturn out to be good Presidents (e.g. Walker, Perry, Huckabee).
I hope that we and the American people can treat this coming election with the seriousness and depth needed and not like a Beatles concert in which girls are throwing their underwear on the stage.
My top three remain Santorum, Cruz, and Jindal. I realize that not all agree with that assessment. My primary hope is that we get a conservative, especially a social conservative, elected in 2016.
Best wishes to all. Good night.
Why is the media slamming him? Political no doubt.
..”hes so comfortable with what he says off the top, he doesnt over think or sound canned”...
Exactly...he was just that way during the shooting crisis. Didn’t read a thing...hit every note ‘naturally’ during that time....that’s the stuff good leaders are made off.
Why would he...they oppose everything he attempts because they do not want him there. In Washington if you don’t play as the ‘stronghold’ wants you to play, they will put down everything you attempt. ...and that’s not just Cruz. But they have utter disdain for him for obvious reasons...he’s been calling them out since he stepped up.
No kidding. I just found this link:

CNN could not be more obviously biased if they claimed all the Pub candidates in their spare time burned innocent people in cages...
Speaking of links: Has this already been posted? (Link to the video of forum itself.)

I thought Cruz and Jindal (except for the latter’s hair!) did well, and Walker better than I expected. Of the candidates who badly need “more recognition”, I think Fiorina did best, as I thought she might, based on what I’ve seen of her the last few months. If she could just increase her visibility somewhat, without making a major gaffe or alienating a too large segment of Republican or conservative voters... I really like a candidate who can speak clearly, succinctly, and to the point.
*I also like her line from (I think) a few days ago, where she took indirect aim at Hillary and still hit the bullseye, something to the effect: “If we have a woman President, why not one who is honest and can get the job done.”
POW!!
Yes, I want to like Perry but he comes up just a little short each time I hear him. And often seems a bit crazed.
SO GOOD LUCK WITH HIM AS YOUR FIRST CHOICE..
I'll stick with Trump, Cruz and Carly....TRUMP has the Democrats and Liberals with their panties twisted and scared. JMO
and I believe Granny Benghazi aka Hillary Clinton will drop out because she and her handlers are screwing up royally and she is a LIAR, CROOK, AND IS RESPONSIBLE ALONG WITH HUSSEIN FOR FOUR AMERICANS IN BENGHAZI...
HUSSEIN IS GOING TO SEND IN UNCLE JOE TO STOP THE CLINTON WRECK...
We can all have our opinions but in the end it will be Voter Fraud that elects the next POTUS...unless TRUMP SCREWS THEM ALL UP...YIPPEE HOPE HE DOES...
We can't do this often enough..the public must be often reminded of this man's drive, ability and accomplishments.
You're welcome!
I’ve been watching it on DVR...I am enjoying hearing these people speak.
More impressed with Carly than I thought I would be. Less impressed with Ben than I thought I would be.
Enjoyed hearing from Rubio. He seems serious.
Also enjoyed hearing Rand Paul.
Jeb did not do himself any favors with me...and I was once open to his candidacy.
Scott Walker is the guy I support, and I enjoyed hearing what he had to say.
Lindsey Graham tried to come across as a tough guy. He had some cute lines about defeating the Clintons.
Pataki was dull.
The real winner, for me, was the guy asking the questions—Jack Heath, I think. He really really was straight forward, fair, no softballs, and no real “gotcha” questions.
He ought to be the standard for moderators.
