Another Republican hopeful in the race for the White House will be taking a trip to middle Tennessee this month.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz plans to make stops in both Murfreesboro and Brentwood on August 10, according to posts on his campaign events page.
His first stop in our area is scheduled to be at 10 a.m., inside the Patterson Park Community Center in Murfreesboro.
At 1:30 p.m., he’s scheduled to arrive at the Cool Springs House in Brentwood.
People can RSVP tickets for both events.
Several other Republican presidential candidates are planning trips to our area in August.
Jeb Bush is scheduled to attend a private function in Brentwood this week.
Donald Trump and Rick Santorum have both been listed as confirmed speakers at the National Federation of Republican Assemblies annual conference which is being held in downtown Nashville this year, starting August 28.
Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker made a campaign stop in Nashville last month, grabbing breakfast at Puckett’s Grocery & Restaurant.

Lot of muzzies in Murfreesboro, complete with 52,000 sq ft mega mosque.
Ted Cruz’ name means “cross” in Spanish. That’s bound to upset the beard & burka crowd.
Fifty miles east on I-40 stands a huge cross on a hilltop near Cookeville, TN. More heartburn for the heathens.
CRUZ or lose in 2016!
