I don't know if I will vote for Trump but, as of now, I don't trust him on the the naming of SCOTUS and other fedjudges, on issues such as the babies, on marriage, on guns, on sufficiently funding the military, on keeping the grubby paws of the Romneys and the greedmeisters of Wall Street and K Street and the US Chambers of Crony Commerce and the globaloneyists off the GOP and our nation's public policy.

The candidate that I will vote for will also have to have a coherent plan for restoring the industrial manufacturing base of the United States, respect for the man or woman who works with his or her hands for a living, sensible slashing of the education racket (higher as well as elementary and secondary) which teaches soooooo very little other than historical, cultural and moral illiteracy and Marxism/atheism at such skyrocketing expense.

It is nice that Trump is willing to fully embrace the anti-illegal immigration fury of Republican and other American voters but it is not enough. It is nice that he promises to incinerate Obozo's unconstitutional surrender to the mullahs but it is not enough. He likely has a supply of brain cells to apply to restoring the middle class and working class, but it is not enough.

Nonetheless, the answer to your question is that it is too early for deciding what I would do if Trump were the GOP nominee. That can be decided a year from now and more and need not be decided unless and until he is nominated. While I am quite unlikely to vote for Trump in a primary when such superior candidates as Scott Walker, Ted Cruz, Ben Carson and even Marco Rubio (I have some but fewer trust issues there too) are available.

In 2012, the GOP-e nominated Mitt (the abortion facilitator) Romney, who was AT LEAST AS BAD as Obozo unless profit is one's god. I had voted GOP in EVERY POTUS election since voting for Milhous in 1968 (against my better judgment), holding my nose while doing so in most elections not featuring Ronaldus Maximus as the Republican nominee and particularly when voting for Feckless Ford, Bush the Elder, Robert Tax Collector for the Welfare State Dole, and John McCain. In 2012, Eternal Vigilance finally convinced me that I was in the habit of being USED by my and this nation's "Republican" enemies.

If the GOP wants my vote and a rapidly increasing number of formerly reliable Republican voters who take their conservatism FAR more seriously than do the whores in the back room at Chase Manhattan, the GOP will have to earn our votes the old-fashioned way by nominating candidates ACTUALLY WORTH VOTING FOR. If not, oh well.... Just a teensy smidgeon better on money is NOT enough.

Trump should take note lest he suffer the fate of Ford, McCain and Romney before him.

I will not, at my advanced age, allow the GOP-e greedmeisters to scare me into line with the old Demonratic Boogeyman arguments. That is all over with now. If this nation simply MUST be further ruined, it won't be by a "Republican" that I voted for.

Excellent points, BlackElk. My teenagers were asking me recently about my voting intentions in the primary. I pointed out that we have no idea who will be on our ballot by the time next May rolls around, but that I favor Cruz, Walker, Rubio, and Carson, in varying degrees.

Three of the gormless Offspring will be able to vote in the NC primary, for what it’s worth - which is nothing, but their votes could matter in the local mayor’s race.

Same old song and dance, which is why Romney was nominated (both Huckabee and Santorum being in allowed Romney to win the nomination) and we ended up with a Moslem socialist realigning our military to support Iran while the Internet entertains us ...

Dearest Elk, I agree with you completely on this comment of yours, but I will never tell a pollster.

I mean that I intend to support Trump, and hard, right up to the moment I don’t. I think behind the scenes he is doing his homework, doesn’t want to be caught behind the eight ball, has a lot of pride and wants to represent the truth well.

He is secular and it shows, but it occurred to me that our Lord has not always used the perfectly pious to do his will. I even have mused that as Trump immerses himself in conservative circles on our military and foreign policy and whatever else, he will be placed in the hands of some fine and Christian benefactors. Who knows what conversion might present itself.

I certainly follow your thinking, I agree with it, as always, and consider you one of my fine mentors, and if we can not get the message to Trump that cutting off the heads of preborns and shipping them with their little eyes closed over seas, then no man can change the course to Hell that America is on, and will remain on, and deserves arrive.

We must put a stop to this barbaric practice and abortion. God help us.

God bless you and your sweetest loved ones, Black Elk. Love, Rita
