During a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce event, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)16% explained that mass immigration would hurt wages in America.
“Should we have a completely open border so that anyone can come in the United States of America?” Sanders replied, after MSNBC’s Alex Seitz-Wald asked the Senator about his position. “If that were to happen, which I strongly disagree with, there is no question in my mind that that would substantially lower wages in this country.”
Sanders reminded the audience immigration affects the unemployment rate for Hispanic and African-American youth.

I know it would hurt our citizens. That’s a fact. But heck, we should cement the ones here in place.
So Bernie knows it’s wrong, what impact it’s having, and still wants to keep them here.

His record on this matter is very, very clear.
The ONLY votes Sanders has ever made against illegal aliens have been those where there was a clear conflict with Big Labor.

If I were 100% certain Bernie would lock the borders down if elected, I would have to vote for him over !yeb bush. We have got to stop the cultural and demographic bleeding that is killing this country.
Bernie vs. !Yeb Bush would be a no brainier, vote for the socialist you know.

If it’s the truth, then all the candidates should be saying it. Too bad that most aren’t - including most Republicans. I’m not going to criticize Sanders for telling the truth - can’t quite understand why you’re criticizing him for doing so. I guess you put partisanship above policy?

Then we should criticize him for not making his votes consistent with his rhetoric. But I’m not going to criticize his rhetoric, because we need all the politicians to start telling the truth. I wish the Republicans would. So far, Trump and, a little bit, Walker and Cruz seem to be the only ones saying anything remotely similar.

Kinda funny how Trump Resonates so then Bernie Parrots him hoping to get the jump on the Hilderbeast.
If Bernie actually means to close the border I would actually vote for his arse over Jeb unless we had anyone decent running as a 3rd party, then I would throw my vote away or stay home.
But as another poster said Bernie is a lying socialist bastard so I trust his wrikled old but as far as I could toss him.

I am at the point where I think the only way to cure people’s love of socialism is to actually have them live under it for a few years.
