On Tuesday, Senator and presidential candidate Ted Cruz (R-TX) had this to say about Obama’s deal with Iran:
“If this deal is consummated, it will make the Obama administration the world’s leading financier of radical Islamic terrorism. Billions of dollars under the control of this administration will flow into the hands of jihadists who will use that money to murder Americans, to murder Israelis, to murder Europeans.”
Not much to argue about, right? So you’d think a “severe conservative” like Mitt Romney would support Cruz for taking a strong conservative stand against the nuclear ambitions of a terrorist nation.
Well… while the former Republican presidential candidate says he’s opposed to the Iran deal, he is attacking the current presidential candidate for his criticism of the agreement.
I am opposed to the Iran deal, but @SenTedCruz is way over the line on the Obama terrorism charge. Hurts the cause.

Maybe Mittens should spend a few of his millions to buy a clue.
In a recent CNN interview, National Security Adviser Susan Rice admitted the Obama deal will give Iran access to up to $150 billion to spend as it wishes and would do nothing to stop the Islamic Republic from sending windfalls to its terrorist comrades in Syria, Yemen, Lebanon and throughout the Middle East, North Africa and perhaps even the Americas.
Of course, attacking Conservatives is nothing new for Romney as we witnessed during the 2014 mid-term elections when he campaigned extensively against T.E.A. Party and other conservative Republicans. He also expressed support for fellow Gutless On Principles (GOP) Hall of Shame member Chris Christie for president, saying that the New Jersey governor could “save our party” because of his ability to reach across the aisle and act like—I’m sorry, work with—the Democrats.
Romney, just like McCain before him, continues to prove that there’s a difference between saying you’re a Conservative and actually being one. As for his criticism of Cruz is concerned, Ted should consider that an endorsement.
By the way, Ted has already responded to Romney’s comments, saying that it proves why he “got clobbered” by Obama in 2012.
Well said, Mr. Cruz. Well said.
If he tolerates and promotes ripping babies apart, which he always has, he’s not a good person.
his words mean nothing
What motivated Mittens to be the sacrificial lamb of 2012?
I was never sold on Romney, but I thought he had more than a small slice of intelligence.
Now, I’m wondering whether he is aware of the correlation between sex and having a baby.
Maybe, just maybe, things turned out OK in the long run.
He’s not very bright.
Wanna know what I think?
Trump/Cruz 2016
Welcome to the “silly season”, the months leading up to another Presidential campaign year.
first of all, I object to the premise
there has been no Republican candidate that was evil
to declare that to be so is foolish to the extreme
it also illustrates a failure to understand America. America has a two party system. One candidate or the other will be elected from those two parties. to not vote or to vote for a pretender third candidate is to cop out, to be politically irrelevant
you can rationalize till hell freezes over, but those are the cold hard truth
I like Donald Trump. I think he’s terrific, I think he’s brash, I think he speaks the truth.
He actually managed to win two more states and the Omaha district in Nebraska. Whoopie!
Commenting on his comments is a waste of bandwidth.
Actually Romney, McCain, Dole, Boehner, McConnell, et al are evil. Or did you not know McCain created ISIS? Did you know Romney started Sodomite marriage and Obamacare and he’s always been pro-infanticide? Did you know his father fought his entire life to purge conservatives from the party?
The two party system: The vehicle that ensures we will never have any representation.
Seeing how my premise is correct, what of your votes? We’ve been voting all this time for what we see now. Our votes for evil means that evil is getting more powerful. I know Bill O’Reilly thinks I’m a fool, and Boehner is counting on my falling in line again, but where has that got us? Exactly where we are now.
Absolutely.
Does the Mormon church have anything to say in the subject, i.e., no nicotine or caffine permitted, but killing babies is permissible?
Dingy Harry is at least a nominal Mormon, too, and it seems as though abortion is more sacred with him than most anything.
Conservative positions, coupled with Trump's ability to get cross over voters and the hispanic vote the GOPee is so desperate to have, along with his name recognition, make him a very powerful candidate. If he is doing this with conservative ideas, he is creating the Reagan big tent built of all people who share the same ideal of America. Which is a very different big tent from the every idea is accepted except conservative ideas, that the RINOs and GOPee want their big tent to be.
What Trump is doing is almost impossible for a phony like Romney and the rest of the GOPee RINOs to accomplish. You actually have to hold these conservative ideas as part of your core beliefs in order to be able to defend them. The Rick Perry's and Mitt Romney's of the world learned you can't just have head knowledge of what you pretend to believe, or you will forget when it counts and will never be able to defend the beliefs.
I know that ideas in books are easy. It could have been ghost written. But read the book. See if he continues to hold those beliefs. Watch Trump in debates and see whether he defends those principles or not.
This election we have a whole slate of liars. Most of them are lying because they have been bought and believe they have to lie to keep the money flowing in while fooling the public. (See Walker's closed door meeting with the Chamber of Commies.) That is certainly not Trump's situation. He could be lying for some other reason. But if he really is a lib pretending to be conservative, it will come out.
It was unprecedented for a debate moderator to give that kind of assistance to a candidate. I was dumbfounded just watching it on television.
If you were up on that stage and your opponent and the person who was supposed to be an independent and unbiased moderator pulled a trick like that you might be at a loss for words as well. People who know they wouldn't be may be people who would have burned out at some earlier point in the campaign.
you are delusional with panties in a wad just making stuff up
