HILLARY CLINTON is working on his release, despite protests about FindersKeepers privlege
!
Fortunately, the cops found him before Jimmy the Gent did.
But I was wrong. I've been wrong before. I was wrong when I held my nose and voted for John McCain. And I was wrong about this crime. Apologies.
Hopefully a loaded Escalade with some 24s and a gazillion watt booming stereo system. Oh, and hydraulics too so he can bounce his way to the hoose gow.
LOL
Should have bought an airplane ticket for someplace far away and a big supply of sunblock and drinks with little umbrellas instead.
I blame it on the evil SUV.
I used to fix and reload ATM’s. They would have a stash of cash in them for reloading but there was a maximum limit. One time my partner and I (It was always two people) found $80k in a machine. We were required to report it because it was too much.
But most (but not all) of these machines shared a wall with an actual bank branch. You never even had to visit the customer facing area.
To be clear, we never brought money with us. That was someone else’s job, and it looks like the “someone else” is who screwed up here.
To be a tiny bit fair, when you work with cash this way, you don’t see it as money. You see it the same way a vending machine owner sees the pop cans he’s stuffing into his machines.
At least, you had BETTER see it that way. If you get hung up on the sheer quantity of money you are handling, you really need to find another job, for your own well being.
Problem is, you find that you don’t respect it as much as someone else would, and you might accidentally leave a bag of it hanging around. ;-)
Pretty much every public place these days is covered by surveillance cameras. I’m sure the second suspect will be rounded up very shortly.
“Police said the van was seen in another video pulling into a nearby auto repair business and pilfering used tires.”
Harvey was held on $125,000 bail, charged with theft of mislaid property. It was not known if he has a lawyer who can comment on the charge.
He obviously took something he knew didn’t belong to him, but not by force, coercion or deception. They might have a problem making those charges stick.
One of ozeros sons. Again!
An ATM once gave me an extra 20. I took it into the bank and gave it to the teller. I got a frosty reception and nary a “thank you.” Fortunately it didn’t turn me into a nasty Sanders / Clinton “screw the banks” type.
"What did I tell you? DON'T BUY ANYTHING!"
Stupid move. Should have laid low for a month.
If he had turned it he might have gotten a reward, and wouldn’t be going to jail.
Who forgets about $150,000? especially when its your job?
I would have sat on it for about a day then on being convicted by Exodus 20:15 I would make sure I left it at a bank with several witnesses and walk out angry at God, but that would eventually convict me too, but I also know that would turn into a blessing instead.
Christians: No wonder the world often thinks us unworthy of life, we don’t know how to ‘live’.
Then I would say, I prefer to ‘live’ and am thankful for it. ????? Yeah, that really confuses the world.
Rule of thumb: if it’s not yours, it is stealing.
I seem to recall stories of honest people returning such lost money to the bank or armored car company and getting an impersonal letter of thanks and a $100. This always came across to me as wrong and a bad publicity move on the corporate front. While it probably wouldn’t apply to this guy, Mensa candidate that he is, if there was a known policy of 1% reward, everybody would be happy. Good publicity all around and encouragement of right actions!
