Has Donald Trump made his first serious boo-boo of the campaign?
For weeks, the media have trumpeted the supposed death of the Trump campaign. First, they claimed, Trump’s campaign imploded on launch thanks to his comments about illegal immigration. Then they claimed that Trump was finished because of his slap at Senator Sen. John McCain (R-AZ)43% ’s (R-AZ) war service. But neither of those comments alienated Trump’s base – he’s maintained his seven point lead over Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker in the 2016 presidential polls, with no other candidate breaking double-digits in the polls. In fact, his original comments about illegal immigration launched his candidacy to prominence, with many Americans relieved that a major candidate had finally touched the media third rail and talked openly about illegal immigrant criminality.
Now, however, Trump may have damaged himself with the very people excited by his candidacy. Asked point blank about his immigration policy, Trump dropped the brashness and the blurting, and suddenly went completely Hillary-vague on CNN. After blathering about deporting criminal illegal immigrants – even President Obama pays lip service to this idea – Trump continued:

One that stands out in my mind from this area is when this manufacturing employee (illegal) claimed injury, was sent home on the medical thing. He returned while still on leave to pickup a check. Walk out and walking back in a few minutes later saying his car was stolen from the employee parking lot. He then had his lawyer also sue to failing to provide adequate security for employee parking. Now two lawsuits.
It was then found this employee had filed about 65k in insurance settlements for a 7 year old vehicle. It was found he had it insured in several different states on different policies.
The vehicle was later found in his cousins garage being stripped and sold for parts.
The US government and their professional politicians have brought utter chaos to our soil.
I am concerned about that too, but that’s another issue.
It is a much bigger issue. The Dems will be the permanent majority party unless we reduce significantly legal immigration. Only Santorum and to a lesser degree, Walker, are talking about reducing legal immigration. All the rest, including Trump, say legal immigration is great. Higher fences and wider gates. It is sheer insanity.
I don’t disagree with any of that....I have not studied that particular aspect like you have...

another thing I’d say on the legal immigration...if any of those are coming here for the right reasons, the American dream, etc, then they should be predisposed to voting the right way. I think it speaks to the tepid messaging of the GOP that they’re not.

Here you are flogging your 2 year old book over and over in a thread that is not about your book. Maybe your book is great, I don't know, but some of the reviews of your book remind me of your performance here, lots of bashing and little to no substance.
You come across as this tough guy attacking others with no facts in your spiels and then when someone calls you on it you can't handle it.
So, either come up with ANY post I've ever made PRO YEB or PRO ROVE or PRO BUSH or PRO ESTABLISHMENT or you can go have: STFU.

Here try and comprehend what I did say, which in my opinion (or are you so against other people having opinions you will cry about that too?) I will type slow maybe that will help you understand the meaning of my words Oh Mr. Author! As Trump is the only real challenge to Bush getting the republican nomination right now, by attacking Trump without merit (in my opinion and the opinion of others here too) you are de facto helping Bush become the nominee. Duh!
Maybe you should put out a 2015 edition of you book but change the title to 'How C. Edmund Wright Lost ... Again.' Rove and the establishment gave us the establishment nominees McCrap and Mittens which resulted in Obama for 2 terms. Bush will give us Hilliary or possibly Sanders. If you are in fact a conservative you might want to help prevent that.
It going to be hard enough for Trump to get the nomination with Rove and the establishment (you say you are against) having already decided Bush is going to be the nominee. There is no other republican candidate at this time that has shown he can come close to beating Bush. So stop cutting off your nose to spite your face...if you are serious about us not ending up with the Rove establishment candidate Bush who will hand the election to Clinton.

Several years ago I briefed Eric Cantor on immigration in a hour long one-on-one session. My final question to him was, "If these immigrants were voting Republican instead of Democrat, would the Democrats allow such numbers to enter?" He laughed and said that they wouldn't stand for it. I replied, then why are we? No answer.

Ben is not running for President. It doesn’t matter what motivates him, it only matters if what he says is valid. I repeat, Ben Shapiro is not running, he’s not asking for your vote, he’s not asking to be Commander in Chief, he’s not asking for control of a trillion dollar budget......it only matters if there is any validity.
It doesn’t matter if he’s 90% wrong, if that other 10% is a problem...because again, Ben is not running for President!

Same can easily be done today. No FEIN, no way to conduct business since you then can’t pay the required taxes under the 940/941 laws.
