Donald Trump has broken the political contract with my party. The RNC should return the favor and bar him from the debates, even if it costs us the election
Donald Trump has said plenty to offend humanity at large, which humanity, ever the sucker for a train wreck, keeps rewarding with high ratings. But speaking strictly as a perennially disappointed Northeast Republican, what I find most outrageous is his transparent abuse of my party for expediency's sake.
Rick Wilson recently pointed out on CNN, as others have, that Trump isn't even consistently registered as a Republican, probably rendering him ineligible for the primary ballot in at least a dozen states. He's backed Hillary and other Democrats whenever the winds shifted that way.
Trump himself told MSNBC's Joe Scarborough all we need to know: that for him, "the best way to win is to win as a Republican. I do not want to 'do independent' at all." But he'll make his calculation based on "how I'm being treated by the Republicans."
The Republicans: Third person.

Politico was already filled up with anti-republican rants. So, the overflow went to HuffPO.

What IS Perry like?
He claims, and O’Reilly didn’t dispute him, that he’s done much to improve Texas economy by lowering taxes (or keeping them low, don’t know which) and other stuff. He talks about transferring power form the feds to the states, which we need desperately. But he, as almost all, fail to bring the Constitution to the center of the discussion in the mandate to cut the feds.
There’s something about Perry though - like he has a veneer on or something - a bit wooden.
Did this moron (Jonathan Funke) really write this sentence?
Is it even humanly possible to be this obtuse?
“What IS Perry like?”
Also one of his PROUDEST accomplishment was the “Texas DREAM Act” whereby Illegals got in-state college tuition. That’s what led to his famous “heartless” remark (if I remember right). He also didn’t lift a finger regarding Sanctuary Cities and had to be dragged into supporting Voter ID (which, I admit, is still better than Rand Paul, who considers it ‘racist’ in his twisted mind).
Perry’s big mistake 4 years ago was running in the first place. One needs to be up to speed on federal/international issues to run, or you get clobbered, once you’re in the upper tier. Perry wasn’t there. Now it’s very hard for him to get past the “giggle factor” - he’s kind of the new Dan Quayle...and I don’t see him overcoming it - even if he’s better prepared this time.
Sounds like a number of FReepers - their sensibilities are hurt and they then decide that the only "principled" thing to do is throw the election to the Dims.
