Not exactly. They will have to ,sooner or later, eat and shit. new York City learned how fast things go south without anyone to tale care of the trash. The same goes for food. Like all whose ego is higher that their i.q., they do not think far enough ahead. And this always results in disaster.

Great job.
I, myself, have been feeling an increasing resentment of the ruling elites for quite a few years now. I don’t know how things will end - back to foundational principles or to the gulag. I’m kinda thinking the gulag is going to win. Too many takers, not enough makers.

Hey, Laz, I’m not sure how I have failed to be on your sometimes-funny, sometimes disturbing ping list, but hereby respectfully request that you add me. Thanks!

Another way of putting it; Washington vs The Rest Of Us.It isn't just Washington. It is everyone who feels they deserve more because they are prettier/richer/smarter/better/more fashionable/whatever than the average flyover country hick.
It is the urbane, the credentialed, the swarms of government officers and even some local LEOs who are convinced they are better than the rest of us and the rules don't apply to them, because they make or enforce those rules, which incidentally, mean what they say they mean when they say they mean it.
They are those who crow about "equality" while looking down their collective nostrils at the rest of us.
Unfortunately it is a plague of attitude which has infected far and wide and is endemic in some parts of American culture.
Yes, the ground Zero is in Washington D.C. and other select urban areas, but hardly confined to those.

Elitists like Planned Abortionhood. That group helps to reduce the 'surplus population', as Ebenezer Scrooge once called it in Dickens' novel. Elitists like Obamacare, with the Death Panels poised to deny treatment to 'useless old people'. Elitists like Communism and/or Socialism, with its control over the masses and the tendency to gather wealth at the top. Elitists like big government and fascist police-state controls, to better keep the populace from rising up in anger. Elitists like illegal alien invasion (and have encouraged it not only in America, but other European nations), because that form of invasion dilutes national identities, erases borders, and leads the world to a 'nationless' global government. Elitist are using Islam's threat to increase the police-state tactics in nation after nation. Elitists like Agenda 21, with the stated purpose of herding us into vast cities, where we can be more efficiently worked and better controlled. You've got it Laz... great job...

It isn't just Washington. It is everyone who feels they deserve more because they are prettier/richer/smarter/better/more fashionable/whatever than the average flyover country hick. I understand what you're saying. And I'm in agreement.
However, I'd argue that one is the Political War, the other is the Culture War. But you could argue that the Political War is a sub-set of the Culture War.
Nevertheless, there is a distinction...and we need to be aware of it.

Yeah, well just remember that those in power will always be the few. And where the good resides is not always with the many.
Remember also tat Marxists have always found the animus against the ruling class to be advantageous.

A couple of days ago I said about Trump's position on illegal aliens that it was not a Conservative position but an American position.
I think that is key to his popularity.
His positions are common sense American middle of the road positions.
But they are the kind of positions that liberal politicians abhor and conservative politicians are generally scared to push.

Laz, my dear,
You stated, “...elitists have been around since the 1600s or even earlier...”
“Elitists” have been around forever.
Common folk have been fighting against the “elitists” since well before the 1600’s. Many common folk desire for the “elitists” to LEAVE US ALONE and abide by The United States Constitution and its first ten amendments: The Bill of Rights.
The ideals of our founding fathers unfortunately have not come to fruition.
What a shame.
I believe their premise to be what we are all about...
Unfortunately, there is EVIL in this world. There are people who want what we have - er, HAD: FREEDOM.
D*mn. There is so much EVIL in this world.

I think you may be on to something. You identified the very reason the elitist elephants didn’t welcome the tea party participants into the fold but kept them at arms length.

all you say is true enough but...... absent 60 senators nothing gets passed
if it does get passed, 7 more are required to overturn the veto
the raw political power required to depose the president is lacking
the result is stagnation and rot
