Linda Tripp, the tape-recording former pal of Monica Lewinsky who exposed the intern’s affair with President Clinton, has broken nearly two decades of silence Tuesday and unloaded on Hillary Clinton.
The 65-year-old Tripp tore into both Clintons but saved her harshest rhetoric for the former first lady, calling her a power-hungry monster who would do anything to get elected.

“This has been planned for so many years. I remember one of the quotes in my first week in the Oval Office which was the week after Clinton’s first inauguration,” the former civil servant said.
“Everybody had this little mantra, ‘Eight years for Bill. Eight years for Hill.’ And when I asked a senior person, ‘What does that mean?’ He said, ‘Well eight years for his administration and eight years for hers. So this is a runaway train. Nobody is going to stop it,’ ” Tripp said.

Monica would never admit it, but Linda Tripp saved her (Monica’s) life.

Somewhere, looking down, Barbara Olson must be smiling and laughing. In “Hell to Pay”, she wrote a very disturbing portrait of how things like the White House staff firings, Filegate, Travelgate, and all sorts of other related nonsense basically all came back to Hillary as the ringleader.

Someday, Monica Lewinsky will realize that she is alive solely because of Linda Tripp and the advice to save the blue dress.
The Clinton machine tried to destroy Linda Tripp for that. She told the truth and it cost her greatly.
1998 showed us how flawed America really was—we were not the people we thought e were.
68% said regardless of the proof of a law-breaking President, it was not enough to impeach and remove from office.
1999 showed us the fix was in, when the gutless Republican and Communist Dems would not fully try and remove a lawless President from office.
It has been downhill ever since.
The Clinton machine and the Clinton kneepad wearing press joined together to absolutely destroy Linda Tripp.
But she did not buckle under to them.
Her friends abandoned her and what should have been natural political allies abandoned her as well.
She was made a pariah, an example to the world of what happens when you dare to tell the truth about the Clintons.
She was right then, and she is right now.
And Hillary Clinton needs to be in a jail cell for her many crimes.

Yes—that picture is probably from 1998/1999 era.
I believe that someone years ago told her of the support she had here on FreeRepublic, and she was grateful for it.
Alas, the years have flown by, and my memory of that is not clear.
Linda Tripp is no doubt a patriot.
In these last 17 years we have seen how corrupt the DC Cartel, of both parties and the judicial system, really is.
Gosh, Linda, don’t hold back. Tell us how you REALLY feel.
No matter how brilliantly the paints are applied, there are still those who remain totally colorblind and unable to distinguish anything more than very muted shades of gray.
What if, instead of sending her recorded Lewinsky conversations to Ken Starr, Linda Tripp had instead secretly offered them for sale, say, to the Chinese government? Or to the Russians? Or even to agents of Saddam?
What kind of blackmail leverage would those tapes have provided to a foreign government in dealing with America on sensitive trade, security or military issues? One of the few things Clinton ever said that I believe is that he would have done anything to keep the Lewinsky affair secret. Given his demonstrated track record of selling out American interests for personal or political gain (there are many examples that I could cite), how far would he have gone in compromising America’s real interests in order to protect his own neck when threatened with blackmail?
Pretty far, I believe. Equally distressing is the prospect Clinton might, in fact, have succumbed to foreign black mail on other occasions in order to hide different sexual episodes that ultimately did not become public.
Au contraire, she needs to be booked for an appearance on Dancing With The Stars.

There’s no doubt in my mind that HELLry made the call to attack & burn Waco and her flunky, Janet Reno, took the PR hit.
