Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush called out fellow GOP contender Mike Huckabee for saying President Barack Obama was marching Israelis to the door of the oven with the Iran deal, calling his comments unfortunate and just wrong.
The Iran deal is horrific, and it creates far more dangers and problems than it solves, Bush said at an event in an Orlando church. But I think we need to tone down the rhetoric for sure.
Look, Ive been to Israel not as many times as Mike Huckabee, who I respect, he said. But the use of that kind of language, its just wrong. This is not the way were going to win elections, thats not how were going to solve problems.
So, unfortunate remark, not quite sure why he felt compelled to say it. Having said that, this is a bad deal and I can see why people are angry about it.
Buzz off, Jeb. The comment is exactly right. The mullahs want to finish the job Hitler started. Any fool knows that.
I cannot stand the Bush family.
I bet Neville Chamberlain had similar thoughts about those who criticized Hitler.
Well Jebnie IS a special sort of stupid...
I’m not even a Jeb hater, but I’m so alarmed by the wishy washiness of our “leadership”.
Why the Hell can’t Hiuckabee say that? How is it morally “wrong”?
And does bringing up a few trips to Israel really pass for a commitment to something? I mean Bibi can say he fought in the Israeli special forces and lost a brother at Entebbe.
These clowns we have cite publicity trips as if they put their lives on the line for something.
Even when you had a Nixon / McGovern race, both had served in WWII.
Jeb, please tell it to the Puerto Ricans and Mexicans who you spend 80% of your time with thinking that they will actually vote for a White Republican. The only time you will see the White House in 2017 is to take a tour.
No, it's Jeb Bush that is "Just Wrong" and pretty much always. People who think the Iranians won't start a nuclear holocaust simply don't understand the nature of the Nut bag sect of Islam to which much of the Iranian leadership belongs.
They regard it as their religious duty to start a world wide fire to destroy the wicked and call forth the return of the 12th Imam.
They are extra special nutbag kooks with double helpings of super crazy sauce.
You would have to be colossally stupid or bat-sh*t crazy to let those loons have nukes.
Just what we need, another Bush who is worried about offending the party of treason.
The deal is “horrific” he says, but we should tone down the rhetoric??? Why?
These politicians are all ineffectual people who are shocked by strong statements.
Jeb hasn’t got any right excoriating others.
GTH Jeb. Loser
We have had enough Bush.
Iranians Muslims want Jews to die, and they want to build nuclear weapons to kill them. The imagery used by Huckabee to state this truth is grotesque, but such is the nature of Iranian desires. It is foolish to sugar coat people who want you dead.
That would explain Yeb's comment...
POPCS
The Obama admin has a long list of anti-Israel crap, so the comment makes sense.
I remember when Reagan was going to speak at the Brandenburg Gate. He said he wanted to make a speech imploring the Russians to ‘tear down this wall’. His advisers wanted him to ‘tone down the rhetoric’. “But that IS what we want to happen, isn’t it?” , Reagan asked. The result was one of the great speeches of the twentieth century.
Gas or neutral oven still the same, the Jews die. Hey all you American Jews who can't give enough money to muslim obie, tell your relatives to leave and come to America. Wait a minute, they can't. Only good Mexicans can.
No, it isn’t wrong.
God, what a pitiful, useless, pathetic person Jeb Bush is.
This deal guarantees that Iran gets a nuke, and it guarantees that we will not stop them, and it guarantees that we will make sure no one else tries to stop them.
And it pays $160 billion toward the cost of development.
And it contains side agreements that not even Obama and Kerry know what they have agreed to.
So how is Huck’s comment not on the mark?
The question should not be if or whether congress should approve it. The question should be how quickly can we impeach and remove this guy from office.
