Real estate magnate Donald Trump moved to the top of the 2016 Republican presidential field in a CNN poll released on Sunday, edging out rival Jeb Bush...
Trump was backed by 18% of Republicans in the CNN poll, which was conducted entirely after his July 18 criticism of Republican Senator John McCain's war record. His lead over Bush, a former Florida governor who was at 15%, was within the poll's margin of error. ...

A PPP Poll on 7/22 (also conducted entirely after Trump's comments on July 18th about a little wine and a little cracker, McCain's war record and so on had Trump at 19%, 17% for Walker, and Bush at 12%.
This CNN poll from 7/27/2015 has Trump at 18%, Bush at 18% and Walker at 10%.
This poll and the PPP poll shows virtually the same for Trump and both seem to show that he perhaps peaked on 7/16-19 and has now stalled.
and second place Jabbie got 14%....snicker.
Trump has been doing a lot of media, but I think his greatest bumps come when he does crowd events that the media has to cover. He blew Bush off the stage in FL, crawing about 1500 more people than Bush.
In short, I don't buy the "peaking" argument at all.
He will “un-stall” after the first debate.
But...but... has Trump pointed out all of these polls or only the ones he wants to point out? Which is it?
Hasn’t he said that he leads in all of the polls, even the CNN poll? Why no mention of the PPP poll along with the CNN poll, which have virtually the same and more recent than the Economist poll?
Most have called the Economist/Yougov Poll an outlier.
Has Trump taken a certain paper in Iowa to task? Did he also take the New York Post to task for recently slamming him? If not, why not?
CNN is tricky...
This was NOT a poll of Republicans or likely primary voters....

“support among Republicans and Republican-leaning independents who are registered to vote.”
Trumps support is in the mid to high 20s in every other poll, CNN pulled a fast one.
Trump will get wiped out in the first debate and he HAS peaked. Mark my words...
What matters most for me is that Bush and Rubio remain low in the polls.
Perhaps then he can finally give us all some proof that the Mexican gov’t is forcibly making Mexicans come to America?
Or perhaps he can talk about his past positions on a host of issues? Perhaps he too has “evolved” like Obama has? LOL.
What sucks, besides Jebby still being in second place, is that Walker is in third place. It should be Cruz. Walker is a boring, uninspiring and calculating political hack.
Trump will be at 35% or higher after the debates.
You have an anti-Trump obsession.
That is not healthy, FRiend.
Here’s what’s gonna happen, Trump will be embarrassed in the debates, pull out and run as a 3rd party candidate, pull a significant percentage of Republican voters, and hand the election to Hillary.
Has Trump peaked and now declined?
Who said anything about forcibly? But when the Mexican government actively encourages such "immigration" on the sly, both through massive corruption and refusal to enforce the border, and also by all the help they provide to illegal immigrants (giving them water, directions, etc), it is clear that the illegal immigration of undesirables is their policy.
We will have to see what he and the other candidates talk about in
the coming debate.
Should be an exciting debate.
Many won’t survive. The only question is who.
We shall see.
Cruz in 2016.
If one picks Trump Bush or anyone else, they will lose.
It’s go with Cruz or you will lose (in November, 2016).
And you like to make things about the people who post threads, like you have here, and thus engage in personal attacks.
That is all you have as you know Trump has peaked and is now on the decline.
Must be sad for you. :(
But I guess some could say that Trump is obsessed with talking about his position in the polls?
You have an pro-Trump obsession.
That is not conservative, FRiend.
