A transit police officer has pepper-sprayed a crowd in Cleveland protesting the arrest of a 14-year-old at a Black Lives Matter conference inspired by police brutality.
The incident occurred near Cleveland State University in the city’s downtown where the first Black Lives Matter conference was taking place. More than 1,200 participants spent the weekend organizing and discussing a range of social justice issues.
According to the Greater Cleveland regional transit authority, its officers were taking an intoxicated teenage bus rider to a police station just as the conference was ending about 5pm. A large crowd blocked the squad car and tried to get the youngster out. One of the officers turned and began pepper-spraying the crowd.

The police had arrested a 14 year old drunk teen. The mob was trying to prevent the police from leaving with the teen, and to make the police let him go. The cops responded by pepper-spraying the mob.
That is EXACTLY the objective. They want immunity from arrest.
The GOP convention coming up in Cleveland will be a bloodbath.
The headline is 100% rubbish.
The headline is meant to imply the only reason the officer pepper sprayed the crowd was because they were black and he was white. Why else would they mention his race?
It’s meant to stir things up and endanger all police.
Thats not really it.
The leadership element sees things like this as an opportunity to increas their own power and wealth. Everything else is just collateral damage.
The rank and file really buy into the propaganda, and don’t realize the cyclical cause/effect feedback loop the actions they’re spurred to by their own leaders create. When the cops back off (see Baltimore), the criminal element takes advantage of the situation (inevitable and predictable, but not intended) and THEY become the collateral damage, they wonder wtf happened. All while the leadership element has moved on to another issue or even venue.
Sad thing is they always go with just the headlines like the one written here. To hell with any facts.
What you say sounds like blacks want to be treated like government employees and politicians.
These a55wipes have already stated they are going to do their best to disrupt the Convention.

Interfering or impeding the duties of a cop in most jurisdictions is a felony. all things considered He showed restraint.
