This week, three of the Republican candidates showed their mettle and had very good weeks......
Carly Fiorina
Carlys ability to handle the press and make a name for herself without a large staff or campaign chest continues. This week, she capitalized on videos showing Planned Parenthood to be involved in a distasteful racket, negotiating for the best price for aborted fetal tissue.
Mainstream news outlets pretty much ignored the story,.......Carly Fiorina, however, with her penchant for the main shot, did not ignore the issue....
The more people see her in action, the more they like her.

Scott Walker
Scott Walker also carried on the fight against the lefts gotcha tricks and stupid ideas.
..Scott Walker, too, held his ground and adroitly managed a setup by pro-illegal immigration backers whod transported an illegal alien and his family to one of his appearances and had the kid beg that the family not be separated:..
On the preposterous Iran deal,...Walker spoke for most of us: in an interview with the National Interests editor:....

Ted Cruz
Cruz is also a great debater and this week in a move that took a lot of peoples breath away, he challenged Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, whom most conservatives consider a failure, a tool of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, too willing to cozy up to Democrats for the benefit of big business, and too willing to ignore the election promises made to Republican voters...
He targeted McConnells actions on blocking the defunding of the Export-Import Bank, widely viewed as a tool of corporate cronyism. He included in his attack on the procedural jostling the McConnell actions on ending the Congressional exemption to ObamaCare and funding to Planned Parenthood in the must-pass Transportation Bill, using language stronger than ever any of us can remember hearing on the floor of the usually decorous U.S. Senate:.....

Three reliable, long time conservatives. With the ability to lead confidantly without being obnoxious. That is my idea of conservative leadership.
There is something good going on.
Fiorina, Walker, & Cruz each have a good week on the campaign trail — all on different issues.
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
It never ceases to amaze me what a deep, talented group of conservatives we have this time around. Even the flawed choices - guys like Rand Paul, etc. are demonstrably better candidates than either McCain or Romney were. And the best choices we have, and certainly I put Cruz, Walker, and Fiorina on that list, are just outstanding.
What impresses me even more is how media savvy these young guns are. Republicans have long bemoaned the bias of the MSM, but generally took the shellacking anyway. Not this time. Cruz, Walker, and Fiorina all know how to beat the media scum at their own game, and it’s causing much weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Long time until the nomination, and even longer until the general, but I’m confident we have a good chance this time around, if we get out best out there, and don’t let the GOPe foist Jeb on us.
need about 20 how many signed the original doi
All 3 should consider Trump for VP for the same reason that Biden is VP. What enemy foreign or domestic would want to knock off the POTUS knowing who would step up?
If it were up to me they would all be in the next administration.
I like those three. Interesting.
President Walker, Vice President Fiorina,Secy of State Cruz. Works for me.
Cruz is my guy for sure.
Walker is second but not really a close second.
But I’m not quite sure what to do with Fiorina. She has been unexpectedly excellent the few times I’ve seen her interviewed on the various talk shows. She is impressive, very impressive.
My problem with Carly is twofold:
I really don’t know enough about her and her past history political-wise to really trust her like I think we can trust Cruz and Walker. That could change.
But my main problem with Fiorina is that my gut feeling is she couldn’t beat Hillary. That could change as well but I doubt it.
In any case I believe she is due a cabinet position in a Cruz or Walker Administration. Of that I have do doubts.
Whatever one may think of Trump, and I personally think he's a joke candidate, the one thing we can be sure of is that he would never be happy playing second fiddle. There is no way he'd be willing to spend a minimum of 4 years going to post office openings and funerals. Trump is too much a showboat for the job of VP which largely entails being quiet behind the scenes. So no, Trump will never be considered for VP by anyone.
As to the other 3, I like them all just fine. Carly less so simply cause I haven't heard enough from her to pass judgment. Walker has real accomplishments battling unions and winning. Cruz is a genuine conservative steeped in conservative thought and ideology right to his core.

“...she capitalized on videos showing Planned Parenthood...”
Right now, in this stage of the total destruction of our Constitutional way of life, Planned Parenthood” needs to take a “back burner” in this upcoming election.
The fact is if we lose the next national election to the liberals the wholesale of fetus parts will go on as usual. If the conservatives win (and boot out Boehner & McConnell) there is a possibility that actual action will be taken against the entire organization that exists solely from the government largess.
The focus right now is the saving of our rights under the Constitution and Bill of Rights. We lose them and we lose total control of our government.
So far, Trump and Cruz seem to be the only candidates who will stand up and take the heat and not back down.
“President Walker, Vice President Fiorina,Secy of State Cruz. Works for me.”

Would prefer to see Ted as POTUS...if not, Cruz would be awesome as AG (the Beast, Lois Lerner, and Jug Ears behind bars)...or, as a member of SCOTUS, hopefully replacing Ginsburg or Breyer!
Hillary is a shrill, stone footed campaigner with an oversize caboose. At some point she will have to face a Republican opponent in a debate. She won't be able to hide and she will be called on to explain herself on issues like Benghazi, missing e-mails, her non-performance as Sec of State and so on. The Democrats understand why Hillary is hiding. That is what scares them.
Fiorina (or any other Republican candidate) will defeat Hillary by calling her out in a debate.
You can bet that Hillary will insist on a minimum number of debates in as controlled an environment as possible.
Walker for Prez. Cruz for the next Supreme Court vacancy. Trump for VP.
I feel terrible, I keep forgetting how formidable Carly is. I need to follow her more.
I still want Cruz to get this. Walker is pretty good, too. I think we ought to be happy with a lot of our choices.
Fiorina snuck through several doors into high positions for her gift for gab, but she was an unequivical disaster for the companies she infiltrated. She destroyed the successful culture at HP and it took years for them to recover.
When they finally walked her out, groups of people were singing "Ding, Dong the witch is dead" in several locations.
Cruz or Trump nothing more nothing less, all others suck
