I believe a lot of idolization of this republic has died. The icon has feet that are now visibly of clay.
And that, we should all hope, will serve to remind people that their hope never should have been in an earthly country.
Once people have started to look for their hope directly in a supernatural Lord in spite of natural circumstances, I believe they will (as even I) be pleasantly surprised. God always was ready to be the octane in our gas, as it were, but we never took it seriously enough as long as things were nice on earth and we did not have to fight prolonged battles against the devil. This has changed.
None of those things can put a scratch on Satan.
Sometimes I thought I was the only one who saw this happen.

We were founded as the result of a fight for ownership of a capitalististic entity.
Now capitalism itself is threatened by a party who should take no position.
To love freedom of religion and our country and be concerned for our families is part of the spiritual war against Satan and his minion politicians and scum judges both in America and abroad. Blood flowing from Christian veins and even pagan veins for murder because of religious belief is not acceptable to Christians who love God and Christ like myself and like our forefathers who fled such evil in their country to begin America.

Of course Daniel 2:33 refers to "feet part of iron and part of clay". It seems that this is too complicated for the popular understanding, as evidenced by the epithet, "feet of clay". I guess it all comes out in the wash.

Jesus Christ did worn us of the great evil of the latter days and how we need to look up, knowing that when evil men and seducing spirits begin to shed blood world wide, as is begun, can only be stopped by His return to destroy the evil people who create the one world order of monsters and fiends headed up by the deadly anti Christ who will lead them.
So I look up and pray, “ Come Lord Jesus, rule and reign in the midst of all thine enemies.”!
Satan will be bound and cast into the lake of fire God has prepared for the devil and his angels at the end of the millennial rule of Jesus Christ Kingdom rule on the earth. An event for saved sinners to look forward to when the deceiver of nations is cast down forever, no more to deceive the nations and destroy human life.
Our hope is in the Son of God, Christ Jesus, the lamb of God, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, The Coming King of the earth after the coming 7 year tribulation, God’s indignation period for the spilled blood of His children worldwide.

Yes, we are. I became a Christian at age 10 and I seemed to know Jesus would return in my lifetime. I told myself numerous times through the years, that could not be. I am now 81 and see Biblical prophecy happening and going faster and faster, every day, and it seems we cannot stop or slow down this happening.
If our country has an economic collapse, and the country can’t function, that will unleash mass destruction and the rise of the antichrist (who has to be kin to Obama for sure, or it is him).
While technocracy rising is clearly a lead in to a pitiless serfdom, it's that stone cut out without hands that targets those feet (Daniel 2:34) that will return the world to the days when the God of heaven sets up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed. (Daniel 2:44)
