Keeping in mind Daniel was ascribing the properties of gold, silver, brass, iron and iron mixed with miry clay to kingdoms that follow Nebuchadnezzar, (Daniel 2:39) it occurred to me recently that the modern age's engine, the microprocessor, could easily be described 2500 years ago as iron mixed with miry clay.

While technocracy rising is clearly a lead in to a pitiless serfdom, it's that stone cut out without hands that targets those feet (Daniel 2:34) that will return the world to the days when the God of heaven sets up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed. (Daniel 2:44)

Not sure how you figure this. I'd have to suppose that you are making a reference to silicon. Is that the case?

BTW, I don't think "miry clay" is biblical. I don't see it in Daniel, but I do find it in poetical works of the 20th century, using 21st century information access technology, of course.
