Gee, are they really that afraid to be truthful? Does it bother them to have to learn facts?
I’ll bet Cruz is cool as a cucumber. This is right up his alley. I wish he could break the top tier and get in there.

my gosh, what's the big deal? What's all this "preparation" about? They should just get up there and passionately and convincingly articulate their vision and views.
If they don't have vision and views, I wish they'd do us a favor, and stay home.

this is why they tried to protect jbush, walker, and Rubio. If they don’t participate they can’t screw up.
Has anyone seen their lower office debates? zzzzzzzzzz

It is very hard to win against a man who has nothing to lose against a bunch of candidates who have everything to lose.

You can’t blame these “professional politicians” from being scared. Candor and truth do not comport well with having to perform political calculations and having to weigh every word in real time against someone who just says what’s on his mind!

Here's a picture of the average candidate preparing to debate Trump...

I think the debates will not be a success for Trump because he will have a very short period of time to get his point across and he’s tempermentally unable to do it. He goes off on so many tangents and random thoughts that his time will run out half way to the point he was trying to make.

10 candidates on stage .. 2 hours (120 minutes) debate time for questions/answers, commercial breaks, etc.
Divided equally that is 12 minutes per candidate. Now take out all the activities and ultimately
each candidate will have less than double digits of time to answer, imo. So how many questions will
each candidate be asked and answered? Not many....

"The fear is palpable."
They're genuinely afraid of this guy.
Certainly it's because he'll call them out on their betrayals of the GOP Primary base voters.
And that will be devastating for all of them.
