WASHINGTON -- In a stunning attack on a leader of his own party, Republican Sen. Ted Cruz accused Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of lying to him and said he couldn't be trusted. Cruz, a Texan who is running for president but ranks low in early polling, delivered the broadside in a speech on the Senate floor, an extraordinary departure from the norms of Senate behavior that demand courtesy and respect. At issue are assurances Cruz claimed McConnell, R-Ky., had given that there was no deal to allow a vote to renew the federal Export-Import Bank - a little-known federal agency that has become a rallying cry for conservatives. Cruz rose to deliver his remarks moments after McConnell had lined up a vote on the Export-Import Bank for coming days.

See? With Trump paving the way and at his back,a real conservative has gained courage. You purists need to understand. Change doesn’t only come in the packages you approve of.
Limbaugh has Cruz on live talking about crony welfare amendments loaded up in that Export Import Bank Senate bill. Which means deals were made that McConnell cooked up to get this passed in the Senate that McConnell denied doing. Hope a FR posts how and who Senate votes.
Limbaugh also played Cruz’s shut down of Code Pink
Senator Cornyn,
Thanks to you and Majority McTurtle for supplying TED CRUZ and THE DONALD the issues they need to ride into the White House...I am sure you will bow obediently to your new masters the American people after the 2016 elections.
Thanks again,
A CONSERVATIVE
They were supposed to bow to the American people after the last election too...
Correction; The Senate bill refered to was the must pass Highway Bill. McConnell also blocked measure to defund Planned parenthood and the baby body parts sale
I heard Cruz on Rush, brilliant and direct as always.
Yes!
Trump can be “The Wind Beneath His Wings”.
Well, perhaps today, after the Senator’s epic rant against McConnell, he might just have the numbers to get in.
I think there might be a riot if Ted Cruz was excluded.
Cruz was very naïve to think that the GOP would let the import-Export bank die!
Trump can be The Wind Beneath His Wings.
Hehehe...
