Nonsense. The improvement is that McConnell is out of the Senate and would not have been majority leader. It had nothing to do with Lundergan's quality as a Senator.

Right...and having the demos in the majority and Harry Reid as senate leader would be an improvement.

It was a wave election. Everyone knew we had the seats to give. Republican takeover of the Senate was not at risk.
