"After securing the border, Trump doesn’t appear to be too keen on enforcement."

Zhang Fei would have spoken his mind. ;-)

Enjoying the series very much with family. As usual, the settings, behaviors of characters, speech and other attributes are perfect.

And again, we dream of going to some remote Dragon Inn or other to wolf down a horrifying dish, refuse to pay and start a brawl that would be fun for everyone! [Little added humor there.] Thank you!

Yes it is a lie. He also pointed out to the stele undo presstitute that the media loves to lie by using half of what is said with a bit of another statement... Cut and paste until they get what they want.

No immigration amnesty without full future tax amnesty.

Well gee Weekly Standard, you hypicritical phony bastards, amnesty is what YOU want.

Now suddenly you pretend it's a negative because a couple of weeks ago you discovered everyone else doesn't want it.

Not suprising, he said basically the same thing the day after his other comments catapulted him to the spotlight:

It’s a non-answer.

In order to take stock, one must hit a point of stasis - it's why businesses often close periodically to take annual inventories. Hard to come up with a sensible plan until you stop the leaks and have a quantifiable population to make decisions about - or even be able to make any quantifiable impact via deportation because these days, for every deportee, there is a handful of others coming in. Any comprehensive answer at this juncture would be useless and remembered later when enemies need fodder to attack with.

I take exception to the writer’s inferring from what heard that Donald was implying something he didn’t say.

Trump dodged the question about ‘what to do with all those in the US illegally.’ That was all.

I thought it was 11 million. At any rate, since they are illegal, how do we know. Any number is bad but it appears we have far more than we need and they have to go. But that won’t happen until that evil snake in Washington is impeached and that won’t happen until his two buddies Boehner and McConnell are removed from office. If Bush III OR ONE OF HIS CLONES is elected, there we will be no change. It has to be Cruz, Trump or Walker. No one else.

Seems the standard GOP-E solution is amnesty first, and then deal with the border (if they ever get around to it).

The correct solution is to secure the border first, then deal with the 20-30 million who are already here.

The problem is immensely more difficult because we haven’t seen fit to fix the border problem first.

There is, and always has been, a “path to citizenship”, just as there is in Mexico.

We need to take a good look at their immigration laws, and emulate them.

I might add...

We should emulate their laws, and ENFORCE them.

Anybody silly enough at this point to think Trump won’t deport criminals and public assistance illegals? I think he will be very selective about who stays.

It is an absolute necessity to secure the border. We see what happens now with illegals who have been deported multiple times. The penalty for reentry needs to be severe.
