“You have to give them a path, and you have to make it possible for them to succeed. “

— Donald Trump, interview with Bill O’Reilly

And what “path” would that be, Donald (as if we didn’t know)?

Hmmm... you’ve been here for 10 minutes and 10 months.

You sound like a “libtard”. So what are you doing here?

Let me answer that. You are here to sew hate and discontent. Prove me wrong by saying something relevant or just go back to your liberal hellhole wherever that might be.

The other week he suggested those who come here and work hard and stay off the dole (with their illegal jobs) should be allowed to stay

As Ann Coulter puts it, regardless of the urgency stressed by the open border shills our permanent foreign guests have been streaming across our border since the last comprehensive immigration reform in `86, and since no one dragged them kicking & screaming across the border, well, they can cool their heels a little while longer while we sort out this mess they created.
And sorting it out, or `mopping up the mess’ involves doing something so that we can control who crosses our southwestern border, that is, turning off the water supply to the leaking faucet.
The open border shills will reject any reform that involves any such control, however, unless it is directed at your gun cabinet. So it is an intractable dilemma.

Trump is just trying to sound reasonable. Most of us here have said that as well—secure the border: real security—and then we’ll talk real reform.

What question was he answering?

Talk about “it”, what is “it”?

What was the question, then we’ll know

The question was :

A reporter asked, “Mr. Trump, what would you do with the 11 million undocument immigrants who are already here?”

So “it” is obviously harkening back to Trumps suggestion that those with productive (illegal) jobs and not welfare recipients should be allowed to stay.

I haven’t been following Trump’s statements in detail, but this excerpted Bill O’Reilly interview is pretty damning:

http://www.glennbeck.com/2015/07/09/pro-choice-pro-amnesty-pro-oprah-all-the-reasons-you-should-not-vote-for-donald-trump/

After securing the border, Trump doesn’t appear to be too keen on enforcement. And this was just a couple of weeks ago.

This from International Business Times, today: Trump even appeared to hedge a bit on his vow to build a wall -- for which he previously insisted he could make Mexico foot the bill. When asked again if he still wants to build the wall, he said “in certain sections you have to have a wall.”

Must've been "business talk" again...

Horse pucky Trump said NOTHING about amnesty

Wishful thinking or intentional damage by the lame streams reporting

My first question, was, did Trump really say this, or is it some lame streamers pipe dream?

RE:A reporter asked, “Mr. Trump, what would you do with the 11 million undocument immigrants who are already here?”
“The first thing we have to do is strengthen our borders,” Trump started.
The reporter interrupted, “But after that — after that.”
“And after that we're going to have plenty of time to talk about it,” Trump said, failing to answer the question and then hastily ending his press conference. “Thank you very much. Thank you everybody.”

I saw this same exchange w Trump on another interview before today.

Standard GOP talking point dodge.

They know this is the key question.
Cruz handled it on Hardball with nothing more than "Follow the law" another dodge.

To them: What specifically would YOU do??

You want to claim to be the 'Unlike them I will tel you the truth' guys?...? then tell us.

He spoke about this in the past. The easiest part is stopping more illegal aliens from sneaking in here. Getting rid of people and families already here who are working, part of a community, not real criminals and want to be Americans - not so easy.

“The first thing we have to do is strengthen our borders and after that we’ll have plenty of time to talk about it.”

If you home is on fire, 1st priority is to stop the flames.

1st priority regarding the endless violent lawless invasion is to stop the invasion at the border.

Secure the borders 1st!

They are trying to TRAP Trump with this question, and he is WAY TOO SMART to take the bait. Republicans SWEPT Texas and the entire South by staying clear of this question and REPUBLICANS won 40-45% of the Hispanic vote. Talk BORDER SECURITY, Hispanics listen and support - talk deportation, not so much. They’re DESPERATELY trying to weaken Trump, and, again, he’s too smart for that.

Agreed. It was a trap and he handled it well. Why show your hand early. I have always said that self-deportation is the best method. Obama gave us the tools of the police state. Time to hang Haman on his own gallow.

Trump can bypass congress with legitimate executive orders involving illegal alien asset forfeiture. Turn it over to the greed of the local judicial system. Give a tiered deadline for departure with assets intact. If the deadlines are missed begin the asset forfeiture to pay for judicial deportation.

Personally, I’d TRUST someone that is willing to build a wall first (like Trump), than someone that wants to GRANT AMNESTY first (like Jeb, Rubio, and Walker), while keeping Open Borders.

We tried their approach in 1986...and that’s why we’re here.
