Scott Walker seems fixated on Marco Rubio.
Wednesday on CNN, the Wisconsin governor *again* suggested Rubio should be his running mate. Walker couched it in terms that his supporters keep on bringing up Rubios name. But Walker has done it enough times to suggest its something else.
The first mention came in March when a Republican leader in Iowa said Walker to hold him, if he were the nominee Rubio would make a terrific running mate."
Now comes the gauzy CNN piece, an interview conducted by Republican pundit S.E. Cupp, who asked about the senators in the GOP primary. Walker, who has stumbled on foreign policy, said agrees with Rubio "a lot of national defense issues."
So if I write a column that called for a Walker-Rubio ticket," Cupp said, "would that make me really prescient, would that make me sort of like a fortune teller?
Walker laughed, then replied: You know, of people who have made suggestions to me, that is probably 90-to-10 the suggestion that people make, Walker said.
Cupp then asked Walker what band would play the soundtrack to your life? Van Halen, Walker said.
Rubio, meantime, is looking forward to seeing Straight Outta Compton.

Cruz and Trump versus Walker and Rubio.
No contest.
Walker thinks Rubio can give him Florida?
With 16 or 17 candidates in the GOP field, some alliances are necessary and prudent. It’s like Game of Thrones... in more ways than one.
Well we tried telling people Walker was a Romney type. As usual few would not even consider it. Now they don’t even have a figleaf. The guy is 100% RINO.
I read somewhere that Rubio has a woman problem.
There’s no Cruz and Trump. There might be a Trump/Cruz.
Walker the RINO goes for marriage to Rubio,
and attacks Mr. Trump for his RINO herd.
Bye, bye RINO Walker, you phoney.
If he’s not trying to wink and nod at the cheap labor importers with this, he’s making a huge mistake.
His latest statements have put him on the side of the citizens and the rule of law. He admitted this was a change for him.
This talk about Rubberio after The Gang of Eight shows either tone deafness or he’s too slick by half, telling us what we want to hear and if elected embracing “Comprehensively Screwing Americans Out Of Their Country”.
you got it backwards.......
Trump/Cruz vs Walker/Rubio will be the contest
Trump is the master deal maker and will make an offer Cruz can’t refuse
meanwhile........ go Scott
I crossed him off my list, that’s for sure.
Walker is no Romney. You just have to look at his record as governor vs. Romney’s. But he is a GOP-e guy.
I have a hunch this ‘alliance’ is talked about more on FR than in the Walker or Rubio campaign.
I’m surprised this didn’t originate on a blog with a headline that starts with ‘Breaking:’.
Hugin: “Theres no Cruz and Trump”
Bert: “you got it backwards”
*************
I wasn’t talking about a “ticket”. I was speaking to ideology. Right now, Cruz and Trump are obviously on one side of the ledger-— Scott Walker has just chosen his side.
Oh he’s better for sure. But he’s in Mitt’s pocket. Rubio, the Romney gatherings, the USCOC. All out there for all to see. He’s not ashamed of it.
Probably doesn’t prefer them.
Rubio is puke I my mouth, IMO.
Walker thinks Rubio can give him the Hispanic vote.
Walker is off my short list now. 1) the left wing consultant. 2) he wants MR as VP and 3) his donors asked him to boycott debate if Trump goes.
My list is shorter now.
