When I first heard about MTV I thought that they would also do some classical music and opera. Boy, was I naive.

The Real World ruined MTV, the rest of television and society.

They tried to bring beavis and butthead back a few years ago, with them making fun of MTV reality shows instead of videos. It lasted one season. My theory is that MTV couldn’t take how bad they were made to look, and how stupid the people are who actually watch MTV reality shows.
