I love what Trump is saying. It angers all the right people. The problem is, the Republican Party will never allow him to be their nominee. He’ll get the Pat Buchanan treatment. As stubborn as Trump is, I could easily see him going 3rd party. If he did, it would be a gift from Heaven for Hillary Clinton. If another Marxist gets the White House for another 8 years, we’re finished as a republic.

In the article we discover Trump is saying that having the GOP cheat him out of the nomination will have a consequence. IOW, if he thinks he is fairly beaten, then no 3rd party. If he loses through shenanigans from the GOP, then he’ll consider going it alone.
My sense is that the GOP is already cheating both him and Cruz through their media connections. Cruz doesn’t have the cash to fund a separate run, but Trump does.
If I were them, I’d have their dogs back off and let this simply play out.
