While waiting at a red light a few days ago, a pickup truck decked out in Confederate flags pulled up in the lane adjacent to mine. The driver had two flagpoles attached to his truck bed, each adorned with the flag of the Confederacy, along with Confederate flag bumper stickers and a Confederate flag license plate frame.
I was in New Hampshire, mind you not South Carolina and the pickup trucks license plate was from the Granite State. The only logical explanation left for the drivers loud display of the Confederate flag after that flag has been universally condemned as a symbol of hatred and racism is that the driver is endorsing the same.
I didnt ask the pickup truck driver who he supported in the primary, but I wouldnt be surprised if he favored Donald Trump, based on his recent surge in the polls and outspoken bigotry. As Republican presidential candidates begin to set their sites on New Hampshire, they will need to come to grips with the partys racial animosity that Trumps surge represents.
The animosity that Trump and his supporters harbor for President Obama is based on his race, not his policies, as Obama is even further to the right than even conservative hero Ronald Reagan on immigration, having deported more immigrants than any other president in history, while Reagan granted amnesty to 3 million undocumented immigrants.
Obama is also more hawkish than Reagan on foreign policy, as seven predominantly Muslim countries have been bombed without Congressional approval under his administration. Even on the economy, Obama has proven to be far friendlier to the corporate establishment than Reagan, presiding over record quarterly profits and multiple record high stock market closings while wages have simultaneously hit their lowest point in 65 years.

Dear Aljazeera, do you know what you do when you ‘assume’?
I love how these people make up articles based on their thoughts. No facts needed.
What complete horse $hit.

WHY WOULD WE ELECT PRESIDENT A GUY WHO...?
Why would this country elect as president some guy who was known to regale friends with ni**er jokes, had a history of depression, was suicidal from time to time and eventually started an internecine war that took over 600,000 lives and...
What? Oh, yeah. THAT WAS LINCOLN! never mind!
Why would we elect president some guy who was not healthy and smoked 3 packs of cigarettes a day, married his fifth cousin then had a notorious affair with his secretary and...
What? Oh, sorry, THAT WAS FDR!
How in the WORLD could we elect to the presidency some guy who was a 60s socialist radical, later married one even more radical than himself, wangled multiple deferments from MILITARY SERVICE while other kids his age were humping through the bush in Vietnam dodging bullets and who was a woman abuser and engaged in sexual misconduct in the Oval Office with a young intern then, under oath, perjured himself about it and...
What? Oh, right, THAT WAS BILL CLINTON! never mind!
But why the heck would we elect some guy raised by grandparents and some pornographer — all three of whom were on FBI “Communist Watch” lists in the 50s and 60s (back when the FBI actually did its job of trying to protect US) and whose mother posed nude for the pornographer before abandoning him and who has openly admitted to have been and probably still is a pot head and user of harder illegal substances and whose every action bespeaks a hatred for the nation he allegedly heads...
What? Oh, right. THAT WAS BARACK OBAMA! never mind!
I haven’t researched all the other folks we elevated to the highest elected office in this country. If I did, I’m sure I’d find warts and blemishes on ALL of them. And why would that be? BECAUSE, LIKE YOU AND ME, THEY’RE ALL IMPERFECT HUMAN BEINGS AND ALL FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY.
Until some leftist journalist comes up with a fully documented list of things he has said or done
to convince me that he is attempting to prevaricate his way into the presidency (as the last guy did!) or that his profession of LOVE for America is also a lie, MY MONEY’S ON DONALD TRUMP.
But my support for The Donald is based more on how the current crop (or is that crAp) of political elites and their media lapdogs and handmaidens are GOING NUTS because he is articulating problems in terms WE USE IN OUR CONVERSATIONS OUT HERE IN FLYOVER COUNTRY, AND NOT TALKING ABOUT HOW BEST TO ARRANGE THE DECK CHAIRS ON THE FOUNDERING SHIP CALLED AMERICA.
Because the entrenched forces he faces have a 3 way program for dealing with outsiders (1. IGNORE; 2. DISCREDIT; 3. ELIMINATE), all we have to do is pray he REMAINS ALIVE through the debates, the election and, hopefully, on to January 20th, 2017 and an inauguration.

Idiot assumption.
How about the idea the driver of said pickup simply wanted to piss off liberals?
Works for me.
The author is making a whole lot of assumptions about what others think and what motivates them.
“by C. Robert Gibson”
From his demonstrated logical faculties a Third grade student.
Does the guy make the best enemies, or what?
Or that he was tired of the PC crap and wanted to show his rebel side?
Btw, The confederate flag is part of American history as is the Jefferson Monument and the Washington Monument. If the Stalinesque America-hating left wants to airbrush them out, they’ll also have to change the names of a helluva lot of public schools, not to mention a helluva lot of black people in history. Good luck with that. Idiots
Now wait a minute, most of these were known plagues. One might argue about Abe Lincoln, and he had to glue back together a literally riven country.
But Trump doesn’t seem to be that notorious in any category.
Rednecks built America, anyhow. What the Dixie flag says today is not race hater, but redneck. Heritage not hate.
That was worthy of a thread. Good job.
Let me be the first to admit the Confederate flag is not good news for Muslims. :=)
The only way one could say that Obama was to the "right" of President Reagan was when Reagan retired in California and Obama was rabble-rousing half a country to the east in Chicago!
The moonbat left is known for being delusional, but this article attains new heights of craziness.
