I'm old, and recently it seems that a lot of what is going on in the world, and most especially America, confuses me. No, I don't have Alzheimer's or senile dementia. It just confuses me that so many adults, especially politicians, can't see things clearly.
Take the newest huge liberal cause: diversity. When I was younger, we had affirmative action, which meant that minorities who were not as well-qualified as a white person for acceptance at a college, to be hired for a job, or to be promoted got all of this because of the color of their skin. Evidently that didn't work out as well as it should have, because now we have the major problem of diversity, or the lack thereof.
Central Washington University, who just won a prestigious award for diversity, defines it thus: individual differences (e.g., personality, learning styles, and life experiences) and group/social differences (e.g., race/ethnicity, class, gender, sexual orientation, country of origin , and ability as well as cultural, political, religious, and other affiliations).
A study I read said that only about 30% of America's companies have diversity departments. Who could possibly keep track of all of those things? If we want to be truly diverse, what about including physical differences: weight, height, vision, body shape, degree and type of disability, etc.? And what about intellectual differences? Why isn't anyone screaming about equal rights for all the people who could be included in one of those groups? Shouldn't Central Washington University include the items enumerated above in their definition?
Television isn't totally diverse. There is BET (Black Entertainment Television) and other channels to meet the needs of other groups. However, there isn't a WET (White Entertainment Television) channel. It simply wouldn't be permitted, because it wouldn't be inclusive or diverse...

Diversity: A way to force those with a genetic and cultural predisposition for success to carry the dead weight of those without the same benefit. Society is composed of three groups: Those who, despite every attempt at leveling the playing field, realize they cannot compete with white males and at some level realize the differences must have a genetic basis— as a result they seubconciously despise their race/culture, but at the concious level must continually manufacture more excuses/conspiracies to blame others for their failures to avoid facing the truth. The second group are those who have the gifts required to achieve, regardless of race or sex— they mostly have a low opinion of die-versity no matter their own personal race or sex, knowing that unity is the goal that teams must strive for to win, and if you don’t have the skills to succeed you are on your own to develop a niche in which you can succeed to the best of your abilities. Finally there is a group who inherently know they are genetically gifted above other groups, who feel guilt about it, and rather than face the facts, must continue to manufacture excuses and find ways to force their peers to subsidize the groups that they must be somehow suppressing. This third group used to claim the suppression was a coordinated, concious effort, called “racism” but since that has fallen apart in the face of the evidence and a generation of policies to give the suppressed a host of tangible advantages, the new argument is that the suppression is totally sub-concious “white privilege”.
Seems the meaning of the word Diversity is to Divide,so it is working quite well.

Diversity - an eventually self destructive concept where you force people of different cultures and races into mixed populations where they are continually influenced by and borrow from one another until any unique characteristics of the disparate population groups have been completely corrupted into a bastardized, homogeneous mess. Examples include: The beautiful parts of Japanese culture that were heavily Americanized after WWII; and current pop music where songs are largely sung about the size of one’s butt.
Diversity is just a word devised to distract from the true agenda: stripping this country of its Jewish/Christian roots and turning it into an atheistic socialist republic.
Diversity means that everybody should be valued except whites.

Diversity: you can choose to associate with people of other races, unless you are white. If you are white this inter mingling is mandatory and must be celebrated under penalty of racism.

In the late 1990’s managers my employer, a multinational corporation headquarters in Chicago, jumped on the diversity bandwagon in a big way. Not only were affirmative action programs stepped up, and actual hiring quotas for minorities verbally communicated to department heads, all managers were required to attend diversity training by outside consultants. The consultants were really minority community organizers posing as human resources consultants.
The mandatory training session consisted of a two day small group session in a local hotel conference room led by one of the minority facilitators. It began with a one hour speech by the lead facilitator about white culture and the many transgressions of white men against women and minorities, particularly blacks, throughout human history. He spoke about white privilege and the continuous conscious and unconscious exploitation of other races and women by white men.
The rest of the day was all about beating up on white men in order to make them aware of the pain they were inflicting on others. Each white male manager was directed to stand up and make a statement about minorities and women. Most of the white men began by making a statement about how they did not discriminate and treated everyone equally. At that point the facilitator would yell at them, going through a list of questions designed to demonstrate they were part of the problem. For example - “How many vacancies in your department last year. So you had five vacancies. How many were filled with people of color? None. So you are a bigot!. Who was the last person you promoted in your department? A white male! See you are preventing women and people of color from getting ahead.” If the white male manager talked about performance, skills, and knowledge as reasons for his decisions he was told those were artificial constructs in his mind used to rationalize his discrimination.
During the next phase the facilitator encouraged women and minorities to attack the white managers and pile on telling about their struggles and experiences with the white managers. Perceived slights such as - “he always goes to lunch with the same white male friend” or “last week he didn’t smile at me”, were blown up into major crimes against humanity.
At the end of day 1 instead of going home like most of the rest of the group, I went back to my office to pick up phone messages. I had a very irate call from the buyer at my division’s largest customer about a shipment one of the affirmative action employees was managing that was lost and urgently needed. I walked into the politically correct white male VP’s office and asked him if I should come into the office first thing in the morning to fix the problem or go to day two of the diversity meeting. As usual, he would not give me a straight answer, instead mouthing something like, “I’m sure you’ll do the right thing.”
In my mind the right thing was to serve the customer first, after all it was our business. I spent most of the morning making calls to track down the shipment and expedite its delivery so the customer would have the goods on the sales floor in time for the promotion. Once this mission was accomplished I showed up at the seminar three hours late expecting to be berated by the facilitator. When I walked into the room, he started to speak to me. I gave him a very strong look, directly into his eyes, and simply said, “You really don’t won’t to go there.” He at first appeared startled, then a gleam of comprehension came into is expression. He smiled slightly, I sat down, and the rest of the day watched the verbal assaults on the other white males. The moderator did not address me again.
That once great, high performing corporation, struggled in the 2000’s as management focused on diversity and internal politics instead of a rapidly changing marketplace. I left in 2003, knowing the ship was sinking. By 2005 performance had declined to the point Wall Street was pressuring management to sell assets, close or sell businesses, and lay off tens of thousands of workers. The downsizing failed to turn around performance so the corporation was ultimately broken up and is no more.
Now I’m watching the same story play out on a macro level as diversity triumphs performance in every dimension of our culture and society.
It’s really simple, just look at the word “diversity”.
Diverse means “variety”, “many” or “multiple”.
To get many or multiple, you deed to “divide”.
As in “United we stand, divided we fall”, the whole political idea here is to divide us over and over again until the Republic cannot stand.
The most divisive administration we’ve ever had is what we have now.
And this cannot be blamed on the current administration, the RINO’s are backing all of this.
