FULL TITLE: Planned Parenthood speculates what we’ll see in upcoming videos, including actual baby dissections for organs
Planned Parenthood has submitted a letter to the House Energy and Commerce Committee refusing to produce its scandalized Chief Medical Director, Deborah Nucatola, at a briefing to answer questions regarding potential illegalities she admitted to in a conversation caught on video by The Center for Medical Progress during an undercover investigation.
In that letter, Planned Parenthood seeks to get in front of further scandal by speculating what it thinks will be on future damaging investigative videos by CMP. This includes an admission that CMP investigators may have video of actual tissue procurement at a PP facility:
Biomax set up exhibits at our National Medical Conference and our National Conference over the last couple of years.
We believe that on at least one occasion a representative from Biomax was shown a highly sensitive area in a clinic where tissue is processed after abortion procedures. While this work is standard and essential during any abortion procedure, any filming in such an area would be an extremely serious invasion of our patients’ privacy and dignity. We also believe that in at least one interaction at a Planned Parenthood facility, the Biomax representative asked questions about the racial characteristics of tissue donated to researchers studying sickle cell anemia, apparently seeking to create a misleading impression.
We believe a focal point of Biomax’s efforts was to induce our affiliates to enter into sham procurement contracts. In one instance, the amounts offered by Biomax were $100 per specimen. In another instance, Biomax offered to pay much more, sending the affiliate a “procurement agreement” that offered a payment of $1,600 for a liver and thymus – an astronomical amount compared to the minimal cost-recovery fees that affiliates with tissue donation programs currently recoup. These efforts most often targeted Planned Parenthood affiliates not currently engaged in tissue donation. All of these efforts were rebuffed. We suspect, however, that this will not deter the extremists behind this campaign from editing and distorting their surreptitious videos.
We also believe there are multiple taped interactions initiated by Biomax discussing whether and how a physician could adjust an abortion if the patient has requested to donate tissue for medical research, and we believe that these extremists will manipulate those videos to make more false claims. In fact, given the scope and length of the deceptive practices perpetrated by Mr. Daleidan, and the lengths he apparently went to in order to advance his political agenda, there may well be thousands of hours of videotape that he will deceptively edit into short video clips to release for many months.
image_286So, Planned Parenthood thinks CPM has video of at least two of its conferences as well as PP staff dissecting babies for organs, expressing a preference for black babies, sniffing – if not taking – the bait on large kickbacks for baby parts, admitting (which has already happened twice) to illegally manipulating abortions to retrieve intact organs and body parts, and much, much, much more about which it has no idea.

In the days since that misleading video was released, Daleiden and his surrogates have sent ricochets of alarm throughout the abortion provider community with their claims that there are more such videos to come.
Of particular concern is the apparent revelation that Daleiden and his associates managed to infiltrate deep into the abortion care world, even attending conferences that require at least two letters of recommendation before any attendee can register.
Two such conferences were held by the National Abortion Federation, the national association for abortion providers in America….
Biomax was a sponsor of both the 2014 NAF conference held in San Francisco and this year’s conference in Baltimore, according to attendees….
“Biomax had a booth that was right across from me,” recalls Heather Ault, a pro-choice artist and activist, describing the exhibition hall at the 2014 conference….
Ault is one of five attendees who have told RH Reality Check of their discomfort at learning that Daleiden and his groups infiltrated what had until now been seen as a secure space. Security is a high priority for abortion providers and pro-choice advocates, who are subject to constant threats and harassment, and whose safety – and often lives – are at risk at the hands of anti-choice terrorists….
It wasn’t just NAF conferences that Biomax attended. Planned Parenthood Federation of American [sic] today confirmed that Biomax had set up sham exhibition booths at two Planned Parenthood conferences as well….
If Daleiden’s group did record any participants of the NAF conferences in San Francisco or Baltimore, they likely committed crimes in doing so. Nevertheless, the possibility of additional footage, which will be doctored to give whatever impression Daleiden and his operatives choose, is unnerving for many providers.
“How did they get vetted?” asked Rosemary Codding, policy director for Falls Church Healthcare Center, Virginia, speaking about the NAF conference. “It requires two bona fide letters. It requires quite a lot. That has got to be disturbing to all members. It’s always been a very secure place to go.”
As I said, I can scarcely imagine what CMP has – video of speakers, workshops, and conversations at at least four abortion conferences.
Holy Cow.

Again, my only question is in my tagline. Until we choose to stand and end this nonsense, it will continue, and all we are doing is pi$$ing and moaning about it.
Let’s remove the veneer and show the world just how ugly and monstrous this is.
Obviously they’re all recollecting their dealings in the past year with people that had questions, that seemed just a little odd.
In all seriousness, I hope the sudden realization of what was said in the confines of their little hidey holes causes much torment and many sleepless nights over the next few weeks.
If there were any justice, these people would be tormented 24/7 by the cries of the innocents they have murdered.
I see they’re trying to defuse their evil actions.
I bet the congressional Republicans are so pissed right now. It is stuff like this that exposes their unmitigated impotence and obtuseness. Now they will be forced to once again threaten and yell and stomp their feet, all the while knowing that they won’t do a damn thing.

Hah. When Dubya was President he had a Republican Senate and a Republican House. If people can’t figure out why nothing was done regarding abortion then, they need a refresher course on Machiavelli.
The GOP isn’t impotent on the issue of abortion. The reality is that they have absolutely no interest in ending the practice. The sole interest of the GOP establishment regarding abortion is to exploit the issue when election time rolls around.
They will make a show of being against it in order to get the usual gaggle of rubes and hayseeds (aka “the conservative base”, or “us”) to vote for them. Works every time. We never manage to figure out why, when they actually have controlled the government, nothing gets done. We aren’t The Stupid Party for nothin’.
In listening to the video...the second one that is, I wonder how old the consenting patients are? They have to have the consent of the female who is undergoing the abortion, in order to take any tissue. How old is that consenting female? Is she 12? 16? over 18?
What does the ‘informed consent’ form look like? How does it read?
What exactly is being done with the organs/tissue once it’s purchased?
From the look of the OP article, PP has their lawyers on it. There’s no way they can deny the practice of what they’re doing, and depending on the videos, it’s unlikely they can claim that these are isolated cases...
Their language however is as vile as their practices. People who cherish life are ‘’terrorists’’? just...wow.k
