Pitbull has a strong message for Donald Trump: Watch out for "El Chapo!"
The artist delivered that message to raucous applause after accepting an award at Premios Juventud, a Univision awards ceremony that aired on Thursday night.
The drug kingpin Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman escaped from a Mexican prison last week and is considered one of the world's most dangerous criminals. After his escape, Trump even engaged with a fake Guzman in a brief, albeit threatening exchange on Twitter.
Pitbull began his short speech by thanking Trump, the Republican presidential hopeful, for inviting him to eat in his hotel and fly in his helicopter.
"I had a different idea of this man," Pitbull said of Trump whose incendiary comments about Mexican immigrants have enraged Latinos across the country. "I want to tell him, look, I'm not a politician, I'm a musician, but most of all I'm Latino."

Both Bush and Rubio have waded into the "Pitbull Primary" with Rubio saying he likes the Florida superstar's music and Bush even saying he'd like to invite him to a baseball game.
It's kind of pathetic to see US Presidential candidates gush over a trashy celebrity like a couple of teenage girls.
If “El Chapo” has Trump killed, it will just prove, Trump was right.
There is absolutely no clearer or more powerful message in support of ending illegals from entering the US, building a triple line of fence that is extremely tall and deporting all illegal aliens - than the message in this post.
Pittbull brings no value to the US. The only jobs he creates are for his trashy backup dancers.
So now illegals are threatening our candidates for political office with violence from drug cartels with whom they are affiliated.
Trump is playing this game three or four games ahead of the other side.
Someone should send a memo to Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio that the constituency they're trying so hard to court and pander to makes heroes and idols out of sadistic, mass-murdering drug kingpins.
I don't like or trust Trump, but the fact that the GOP establishment takes the side of Chapo Guzman's cheerleader (Pitbull) against Trump tells you a lot about the GOP. Bush and Rubio are no different and no better than liberal Democrats who supportthe Black Panthers.
One of the things that makes me very frustrated is that Latinos of this persuasion are denying us the rights to have our own country and they are blind to the fact that they are being just plain rude.
On their way to college, no doubt.
These people have no say in the policy that our country determines for itself. We need to get them out before the foothold gets much stronger. The Marxist Globalists have been busy. Time to end them.
Im willing to wager that Pitybull passes on to the other side first . . .
I’ll have to admit it, I’m probably a second class citizen.
I don’t know what it’s like to play the race card over my loyal citizenship card. It must be a great thing to do, because Hispanics and Blacks do it all the time and get perks I never could. I guess that’s a reward for good citizenship.
Even the citizens of other nations come to the U. S., wave the flag of the nation where they actually are a citizen, and get perks for that too, that I can’t get. I guess this rewards them for being a better citizen than I am. I do wonder why we reward the citizens of other nations, but it’s probably because I am such a bad U. S. Citizen that I don’t understand this.
Then we get see people make light of a known drug cartel leader threatening a presidential candidate in the U. S. As a terrible citizen, I don’t see why that’s a good thing either. Maybe some day I will.
I see thousands of deaths, rapes, child molestations, and other crimes perpetrated by the citizens of other nations. I watch as their crimes are played down, so bad citizens like me won’t demand unfairly that illegals be removed from our society.
I will watch as people lable me a racist. I will watch as people label a political leader who objects to this as a racist. I will watch as they champion those who will allow the death and destruction of our society to continue.
One day I hope to be as good a citizen as the people I see championed today. I had always thought building up our nation was the right thing to do. I now know better.
Perhaps I’ve hit rock bottom. I do recognize the error of my ways. Perhaps I can find a 12 step program, and one day attain the status of people who prove to me every day what a terrible second-class citizen I am.
DREAM Act, here we come, ese!
Trump has some serious dudes on his payroll, he just doesn’t talk about it.
It’s not so much that Pit bull said it as is the crowd reaction.
It’s not El Chapo, it’s his people, and the fact that the guy has good political instincts for being a murderous strongman.
On the bright side Pitbull and his dancers are not on US welfare. :-)
Did we ever find out if the FBI got back to Trump? Or, if he’s been offered any SS protection (like 0bola received)? Not that he’s holding his breath waiting.
...while being encouraged to do so by two other supposedly "conservative" Presidential candidates.
