They don't get it. Donald has all the right RINO/Liberal/PC enemies, and he is collecting more of them all the time.

The more they pile on, the stronger he is going to get.

My bet is that once he has reduced the establishment GOP hacks to a whimpering, smoldering pile of rubble he will withdraw and hand his followers over to Cruz.

Seriously, Trump cannot afford to be POTUS. Besides the pay cut, he would have to divest himself of all his assets. That ain't happening.

He would not have to divest himself. He would have to put everything into a blind trust, however.

I disagree. Trump has reached the stage in life where a man starts to think about his legacy. What are his real ambitions? To make another billion dollars? What's the point in that?

It's clear from the actual clip that as usual some off the cuff remarks are taken out of context, seized on and blown way out of proportion in an attempt to score political points. Another example of the double standard. Compared to Biden's history of gaffs this one is pretty tame.

What is telling is that any other candidate facing similar criticism would instantly backpedal and go on an apology tour. That's the sort of blatant hypocrisy that American's have come to expect from the political class, and it's refreshing to see someone who isn't afraid to speak their mind and is more concerned with the real issues than mollifying bruised egos. That's why Trump is gaining some serious respect from the general population.

Stop and think, consider things.

Trump and Cruz.

Do you really think trump would consider Cruz ready to be President? Seriously think that?

I don’t.

Trump likes Cruz, but I’d bet he judges him to be an apprentice president, not yet ready for the real thing.

I haven't read that part of the Constitution (the one that requires a President to divest oneself of all assets.)
