DALLAS (AP) -- Muslims say they're looking for a place to bury their dead. Locals say it's a plot to gain a foothold in their small rural Texas town.
A proposal to bring a Muslim cemetery to Farmersville has stoked fears among residents who are vehemently trying to convince community leaders to block the project. The sentiment reflects an anti-Muslim distrust that has been brewing over the last year in parts of Texas, most notably 25 miles away in Garland - the scene of a deadly May shooting outside a cartoon contest lampooning the Prophet Muhammad.

One good thing I read in the article was that the five existing Muslim cemeteries are running out of space.

Problem is the live ones who will go visit, think of the 72 virgins that await them, and go out and shout alaku Akbar.

I would think that whichever government agency that oversees the environment in Texas could step up and require all bodies that are to be buried be embalmed and in a properly lined coffin to protect the ground and ground water from contamination. Just saying....
UMuslims in the Dallas-Fort Worth area publish a Muslim Yellow Pages. It’s about 2 inches thick. I picked one up in a gas station when I was in Dallas a couple years ago. It was eye opening. There are dozens of mosques and madrassas in the DFW area already. As well as thousands of Muslim owned businesses of every type. Real estate, building contractors, halal restaurants, clothing, plumbers, roofers, attorneys, doctors, accountants, travel agencies (group discounts to Mecca) and 1-day passports. Dozens of Muslim “charities” many of which openly advertise that they are funding “charities” overseas. It’s important to understand, Muslims will gladly accept our money, but they mostly only do business with other Muslims. The sheer number of Muslim businesses indicates a burgeoning population. They’re not trying to get a foothold; they’ve got one.
