This is the Sunday Morning Talk Show Thread Ping List! If you want to be on it, reply to this post or FReepmail me (in case I miss it). If you want to be taken off, simply send me a FReepmail.

Lurch everywhere! Do you know he served in Vietnam? Backstabbed the USA as soon as he came back, and now backstabbing the USA with his “Enabling a Nuclear Iran Treaty”.

The drivebys will all be dumping on Trump today for his disparaging remarks on McCain that the press is inflating to mean war heroes and veterans. I’ll be the first to say that Trump shouldn’t have said that about McCain, but the press is GLEEFULLY OVERREACTING. Trump should fully apologize and put this behind him as soon as possible. You may very well disagree with me, but it is damaging at some level, so how do you suggest Trump halt or fix the damage to his campaign?

" I’ll be the first to say that Trump shouldn’t have said that about McCain."

It appears that Trump really DIDN'T say that about McCain. Here's the rest of the story:

Trump should not apologize, McCain has never apologized for all of the things he has said about conservatives and never will. He has milked his stay in Hanoi for more than it deserved.

The only reason he was flying was because of his father. Should he have said it, probably not, but Luntz was badgering him pretty hard and he snapped back.

McCain is an embarrassment, even to the Republican party as it stands now. If what Trump said about McCain would be the impetus to get McCain out of the Senate and back in Arizona so he can spend his wife's money, that would be a public service credit for Donald Trump.

But probably not. McCain will probably die in office, inflicting his good-intentioned bad results on all of us. I hope at his funeral a flight a "Wacky Birds" salute After-Burner Johnnie.

I don't think Trump should apologize. You bring up Kerry. How come it's okay to insult Kerry's service and his actions after serving, but not McCain's? What has McCain done to help veterans? To save the US from invasion?

Has McCain apologized for calling Cruz a "whacko-bird" or Trump's supporters "crazies"? I don't see how anyone can acknowledge with respect McCain's time in the service and not acknowledge the damage he's done since.

New guy on the Fox panel points out that Donald Trump is reaching the Republicans who feel betrayed by the elected REPS who went to Washington and did not repeal Obamacare or balance the budget or do any of the other things that they said they would do.

Heard another interesting point on some talk show this weekend. The colonies were being charged 1 or 2 % tax by the British government, and when the Tea Tax came up, look what happened. Now the federal government is, what 30% of our domestic economy, and the Tower of Babel media keep thinking everything is just fine.

Julia Pace on the Fox panel appears to be the expert on the Obama administration; Chris Wallace keeps asking her "how the White House thinks" about various topics.

Jane Harman, on the other end of the liberal scale, wants the government to have the ability to produce pop-ups on internet users PC's. No totalitarian government there.

Actually the next campaign issue the Republicans need to raise is that Hillary Clinton and her co=president Bill disarmed the recruiters and other US military in this country. Now there are 5 dead Marines killed by a wacky muslim. Any connection, Hillary?
