When a “King” loses his crown there are always hurt feelings. Personally, I think it’s high time that McCain loses his “crown” to somebody with guts enough to tell the truth.....the “emperor has no clothes”. Even though I voted for McCain it was a question of the lesser of two evils. I have NEVER been satisfied that he is the hero he is supposed to be, otherwise his compatriots in the Hanoi Hilton would line up to defend him. If you choose door one, please reveal his act(s) of distinguished courage or ability. I think Trump is correct - it doesn’t take courage to be captured. McCain clearly had no distinguished ability to fly aircraft. I appreciate McCain’s service, but he is no hero. So, please let me know what he has done that merits hero status?
BTW, I believe the word hero is overused, and lightly given in our society.
True heroes don’t criticize their fellow team mates. McCain is not a hero by any definition.

I have no problem with McCain’s military career, despite the fact other POW’s don’t like him. My beef with him is for his actions as a politician. He has certainly not been a hero as a Senator.

Trump did not bring up McCain service in the USN, Luntz did, Trump was being critical of McCain for calling Trump supporters crazies. Luntz keep injecting "But he's a war hero", "he's a war hero" classic PC move to shut down the discussion. Just like any criticism of Obama makes you a racist.
