"CAVUTO:.....Donald,..you were critical of the Texas event for doing just that. What do you think about this one planned in New York?
TRUMP:I think it's very simple. Our country has a lot of problems. We have got problems at every different level, whether it's economic or war and money that we're spending that we're not getting anything.
We spend billions and billions of dollars fighting and even trillions of dollars fighting. We end up getting nothing out of it. And the last thing we need is an obnoxious blowhard like Geller to go out and start trouble, when there's no reason for it.
There's absolutely no--I'm a bigger believer in free speech than she is, believe me. And I think it's very, very important. And we can't allow people to get away with bad stuff, the kind of stuff they're doing, the beheadings. We have to be tough and we have to absolutely go in and wipe out the bad. But for her to go in--and I guess she makes money doing this. Something has to happen. What is she doing it for? This has nothing do with free speech. This is taunting. And all it does is cause trouble..........
CAVUTO:..she says..you went a little far...
GELLER:And as far as Mr. Trump goes, he sure flaps his tongue and uses free speech and wishes to silence others. There's a war going on.
CAVUTO:What did you think of that?
TRUMP:Well, there certainly is a war going on.And she should be a--she should be much more responsible because what she's doing is unnecessary. I will give you an example. Let her go out and talk about--she's using those show free speech. She's not using it for any other--and she's using it for her own purpose.
She's a--she's a person that is doing this for her own purpose..and she's doing a terrible thing for our country....

Trump calling anyone an "obnoxious blowhard" is truly rich.
Trump is inconsistent and unreliable, but he can be great at making noise and directing the agenda away from political correctness.
Someone sinking in the polls?

“Businessman Donald Trump continues to lead the Republican presidential field, but a newcomer to the race is hot on his trail.
Trump took 18 percent support in a national Fox News poll released Thursday evening. Right behind him is Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker with 15 percent.
Walker officially launched his campaign Monday, declaring to supporters, I will fight and win for you.
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush dropped to third place, garnering 14 percent support.
In the previous edition of the Fox News poll, released June 15, Bush led the field with 15 percent, followed by Trump at 11 percent, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson at 10 percent, and Walker and Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) tied at 9 percent.
Paul checked in at fourth place in the new survey at 8 percent, followed by Sen. Marco Rubio at 7 percent and Carson at 6 percent.
Following them are Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee at 4 percent, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie at 3 percent.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich and former Sen. Rick Santorum are tied for tenth at 2 percent.
Tenth place is a key spot, as Fox News Aug. 6 debate will be limited to the top ten candidates based on an average of polls. Candidates are pulling out all the stops to climb the polls for a shot at the stage.
Former CEO Carly Fiorina, former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, Sen. Lindsey Graham, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and former New York Gov. George Pataki all fell outside the top ten in the poll.
The poll surveyed 1,019 registered voters between July 13-15. The margin of error was plus or minus 3 percentage points.”
Fox News is Scott Herbert WALKER Bush country.
Disappointing but I still like Trump
You’re diverting.
Which one?
Republican (Before 1999; 200911; 2012present)
Reform Party (19992001)
Democratic (200109)
Independent (201112)

Yep. Trump was wrong on this. I don’t like it. But I like a lot of other things he says. I hope he rethinks his position on this.
So whose campaign do you work for, Rick Santorum or Jebby?
I forgot about this. I was furious at Trump for those comments. I wonder if he still feels the same way?
The problem is, he’s a loose cannon and he’s in it for himself.
There are others throughout history who rallied the masses with this kind of appeal.
Trump isn’t alone in decrying the problems on the border, but while his “lighting a match” in such a volatile way may release a lot of pent up frustration and anger, in the end he will move on to the next act.
Because, as he is so willing to tell everyone, he’s rich and he’s smart and he has all the answers.
Trump is absolutely correct. If she had done her show about Draw the N word or Sculpt Jesus out of Dung or whatever, everyone would have thought it socially, morally, ethically wrong. Unnecessarily insulting. One is free to do it. But it’s still morally quite wrong.
You don’t have to be morally wrong to make a stand against Islam terror.
That’s a fine Saul Alinsky comment.
was he wrong?
I guess that will be up to how you see him, his manner and his flexibility on issues, political ports of call, etc. - right now it seems to boil down to his ability to play the news cycle to his advantage.
So.
Defiance! Not appeasement!
Her show was about draw Mohammed. Not draw Mohammed with dung, or draw Mohammed with n!gger written on his turban.
There's nothing the least bit "morally wrong" with saying: "Our Bill of Rights allows us to draw a picture of anyone we want, and we are going to."
In fact, for an Amercian it's morally wrong not to. Like him or hate him, Trump was wrong in this case and Geller was right.
