Mine does too...and it burns with loathing for the monster who did this to our heroes!
Hiya M/L...sounds like Mom is doing better & glad to read it! *Hugs*
Thats a big 10-4 Luv.
I'm so tired of these senseless murders of Our Best and then the media try to deflect the blame away from whom we all know is responsible.
Madness!
Speaking of listening on ball games on the radio: The summer of 1980 before my college senior year, I worked a construction job in Kokomo. They needed a jobsite “gofer” and the foreman asked if I knew how to drive a stick. I said “yes.” Technically it wasn’t a lie; my brother had a 4-speed burnt orange Ford Pinto Wagon and I saw how he did it. But I had never actually done it before. The foreman told me to go pick up some boards at Kokomo Lumber, and I learned how on the way over and back. The rest of the summer I drove around Kokomo in the afternoons, listening to Vince Lloyd and Lou Boudreaux broadcast Cub games on WGN. And I got paid for it. Best summer job I ever had.
(((hugs)))
Thank you. It just breaks my heart, and they are in a “gun-free zone” and can’t even defend themselves. [as far as I know]
Madness and evil.
We had an ahole that hired my 16year old brother as assistant manager.
He liked to act all bossy and would say “Go wash my car”! (A 74 Stingray Corvette).
Bro would swing by and we’d take it on a hell ride LOL
Dumbass.
Your brother was smarter than his boss. There arealways “fringe benefits” to a job. That summer in Kokomo we were building a Kroger supermarket. They had this very expensive high quality tongue-and-groove water resistant material for the butcher’s shop; it came in 8-foot sheets, five to a box. When they were done with the butcher’s shop, there were some unused sheets the foreman told me I could have. They made great tops for the bars I built in our house off campus, and for my friends’ house across the street. The bars had aquariums in the front and a mini-fridge and stereo in the back, with bays for albums and cassettes. All built with materials left over from a Kroger store.
“Let’s Go Krogering.”
Thank you for today's Just Hangin' Cafe.
I thought I could play a little, but it isn’t working very well. Trying to use both eyes now, but I’m gonna give up. One eye is seeing REALLY, REALLY bright, and the other, still with a cataract, a brownish color and double vision. So just a couple posts and I’m off the bed.
((HUGS))Good morning, LUV W. How's it going?
((HUGS))Good morning, Kathy. How’s it going?
((HUGS))Good morning, AZ. How’s it going?
((HUGS))Good morning, Beach. How’s it going?

Just goes to show you that the Canteen is addictive! Hope it's much better today.
Good morning EG ((HUGS))
Right now, I’m trying to get my brain in gear, which will require another cup of coffee.
Howz it out your way?
