Two military centers attacked by unknown gunman

WRCB reports the injured Chattanooga police officer is Dennis Pedigo.

In response to the shooting today in Chattanooga, a prayer vigil is planned for 7:30 p.m. tonight at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church at 6314 East Brainerd Road.

The #ChattanoogaShooting suspect is Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez, CBS News reports.

Sir, I am a Korean vet and I totally agree with your statement. Our Government has destroy our ability to protect and think it is funny. And conceal weapons should be authorized upon proper training for all civilians. All retired police should carry. We are at WAR. Damn it, we are at WAR.

A woman who attended Red Bank High School with Abdulazeez said he was a quiet kid, but well-liked.

“He was friendly, funny, kind,” said Kagan Wagner. “I never would have thought it would would be him.”

She added that their whole family seemed normal.

“They were your average Chattanooga family,” she said.
