During a Wednesday press conference to promote the Iranian nuclear deal he had announced a day earlier, President Barack Obama fielded a question from CBS White House correspondent Major Garrett regarding the four Americans held captive in Iran and why he didn’t seek their release during these negotiations.
Exchange as follows:
GARRETT: Thank you, Mr. President. As you well know, there are four Americans in Iran — three held on trumped-up charges and according to your administration and one whereabouts unknown. Can you tell the country, sir, why you are content with all the fanfare around this deal to leave the conscious of this nation, the strength of this nation unaccounted for in relation to these four Americans? And last week the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said under no circumstances should there be any relief for Iran in terms of ballistic missiles or conventional weapons. It is perceived that that was a last-minute capitulation in these negotiations. Many in the Pentagon feel you’ve left the Joint Chiefs of Staff hung out to dry. Would you comment?

Obama et al threw away the lives of an ambassador and those who protected him. These lives are being thrown away as well. NOTHING can stand in the way of the agenda of arming the radicals.
Consider a contrarian view.
If the Iranians were really close to nukes, Obama would want a deal so as not to be at the table when to first test goes off. With that Obama knows the media will dutifully praise him. (WIN for Obama)
If that above is true. Obama knows the Israeli’s might well take matters into their own hand, conducting an air strike that will set Iran back years. Obama lets it happen. Obama will then condemn this air strike. ( WIN for Obama)
With the Israeli air strike...suddenly...the particulars of deal will no longer matter. Obama and the media will decry that Obama’s deal was...”...never given a chance”. ( WIN for Obama)
With all that Obama will punish Israel which is high on his agenda. ( WIN for Obama)
Second Nobel Peace Prize. (WIN for Obama)
Otherwise, say, Israel doesn’t strike. Is this deal soo sweet BECAUSE the unspoken agreement is Iran has agreed not to test a nuke. ie: Obama to Iran: “...listen you can have it, just don’t test or acknowledge it”. (Just like Israel’s policy, no tests, never acknowledged). (Still a WIN for Obama)

Remember the days we elected the most qualified candidate? What's this fascination with electing based on skin color, gender, etc?
I think your scenario is plausible. Israel is going to act before the sanctions come off and the billions start flowing back to Iran.
We should always elect the most qualified candidate. But I think memories of Obama will cause voters to consciously or unconsciously shy away from black candidates. The same way Carter left a bad taste for southerners.
Garrett, from time to time, distinguishes himself as actually attempting to be a serious journalist. The bar is admittedly low in those briefings so when kudos are do, then kudos to Garrett.
Hopefully that smack-down will only piss him off.
There was no reason to even START THESE TALKS.
The only talks I would have had about Iran’s nuke program would be with whoever the leader of Israel is at the time, and how we are going to take out all their facilities.
Absolutely zero American interests in this deal, and they put the ME/Asia/Europe and the US at risk of waking up one day to a major city being vaporized. As soon as Iran has a nuke it will be smuggled into Israel, or the US and detonated.
Other than FOX News, all alphabet MSM is announcing this deal as Obama’s Legacy!

I didn't know Garrett had left Fox since I don't watch any news programs. With his question, I'm wondering how much longer he'll have a job there.

I like Major Garrett when he was with FOX NEWS..was disappointed when he decided to leave...He at least asked a question that got under the thin skinned one...made me chuckle. way to go Major. 5^

I think he is going to grant the United Nations taxation power over the US and he will become Secretary General of the UN (I know he’s not eligible, but what difference does that make?).
PS - A United Nations with taxation power is the de facto world government.
Valerie Jarrett is to Obama what Huma Abedin is to Hillary,they run the show,Jarrett a mole of the Iranians,Huma a mole for the Muslim Brotherhood.
