Col. Glenda Lock, commander of McDonald Army Health Center, was fired in late March. We now know the reason why. Apparently, Lock intimidated subordinates into letting her pass the tape test after she was found overweight.
Initial reports in April indicated Lock was fired for undue influence and command climate problems, after receiving a suspension in February. Results from the investigation indicate that undue influence took the form of manipulating tape test results, Army Times reports. The tape test is used by all services to measure body fat in the neck and waist.

HA!!!
I'm afraid to ask.
I shouldn't be laughing as hard as I am, but I am.
The recalcitrant fat could be between her ears.
Admittedly, I do not buy into all these ‘health fads’ ANY form of exercise or restrained diet.
I do know that if the Restaurant etc advertises healthy food they don’t stand much chance of getting my bucks..
Then again, if they serve “LIBERAL Portions”, I tend to go elsewhere.
‘They’ may have piqued my interest a few years back but when ‘they’ told me that MICHAEL JORDAN, in his prime etc was - by Government Standards - FAT, I put this study right up there with hiding under your flimsy school desk in a Nuclear Attack, Wearing goggles and turning your back during a Nuclear Explosion etc etc
In ‘their’ world, sitting behind a desk and running a Hospital is tantamount to leading a charge up a hillside with ‘others’ firing live ammo at you.
Of course, those that use that example also (probably) expect as much in the ‘Medal Department’ also.
Kind of like the drone ops in a mountain in Colorado wanting the same ‘status’ as the dudes that actually FLY the Jets off carriers etc...
Intimidated? How? The tape don’t lie. Report the number and turn it in. That would be a great place to stand up to her. Either the tape number fits, or it doesn’t.
This isn’t a subjective measure.
She has many before and after pictures....
I've been amazed many times...when she looks a lot slimmer...but only lost 2 pounds or so...
Muscle weighs more than fat....plain and simple.

Expected.
geez how are the trannies gonna pass those standards?
IIRC, I didn’t meet height/weight...I was also in great shape at the time, and the fallback test was the neck/waist charts, which I passed.
And, if I hadn’t have passed that, the fallback would by a test in a swimming pool, to measure density.
So, one way or another, if you weren’t genuinely fat, you could eventually pass.
Warm indeed.
Another guy I worked with just had a crappy body structure. He was running mini marathons, riding over 100 miles a week on a bike, and all sorts of aerobics to stay in shape, he was healthier than just about everyone else in the unit, but failed the tape test every time.
We both had to do mandatory fitness training. And we were on mandatory, high-carb, low fat diets. Guess why we weren't losing weight. They told us to eat all the bread we wanted, just lose the mayo. Of course, this was early 90s, when low fat was the craze, before they really understood what that did.
It’s all about that bass...
LOL! The camouflage pattern isn't working!
She was NOT fired for being overweight; she WAS fired for trying to cheat.
Therefore she comes up short on integrity and honesty in my book.
Male, female, white, black, the good leader meets the standards, as an example for subordinates.
Well if they’re gonna let in all these lesbians and transsexual freaks, they better loosen the standards for a lot of stuff.

...
I’m pleased that a quota filler wasn’t allowed to slide, and that subordinates were able to bring her corruption to light.
I thought it was just me...
Ah... when “every ounce of body fat is gone,” there are no curves...
Look at a competitive marathoner, male or female.
The size of two Soldiers!
